Make a unique copper ring from scratch with artist Mercury Swift! Learn how to capture textures from your environment in metal with hammers, in order to form a copper ring using tools like ring mandrels and rubber mallets. Participants will also learn about softening metal with heat, a process known as annealing. All supplies will be provided. Each person will leave the workshop with one finished ring. EC Poetry and Prose is a collective of poets and writers who believe in the power of language to convey truth and promote peace.
