Where will inspiration spring out from? Come along and collage with us to find out! And to help get the creative cogs turning, here is an extract from a poem by H.P. Lovecraft. Very fitting, we think... The place was dark and dusty and half-lost
In tangles of old alleys near the quays,
Reeking of strange things brought in from the seas,
And with queer curls of fog that west winds tossed … I entered, charmed, and from a cobwebbed heap
Took up the nearest tome and thumbed it through,
Trembling at curious words that seemed to keep
Some secret, monstrous if one only knew.
Then, looking for some seller old in craft,
I could find nothing but a voice that laughed. The venue: This night takes place at The Circular Space – home of The Scrap Space. Any Swig & Weave regular will know how much we love this community hub. Their aim to bring joy to the community while looking after the planet – something we very much support!
