The NCCA Showcase Game between Suffolk CCC and Essex CCC is set to take place at Woolpit Cricket Club on July 21, 2024. This highly anticipated event marks the third time the club has hosted a First Class County, following successful matches against Kent in 2022 and Surrey in 2023. Attendees can expect a carnival-like atmosphere, with live music from a brass band, local businesses showcasing their products and services, and a variety of food options available from hot and cold food wagons. In between innings, there will even be a softball cricket tournament on the outfield. General admission tickets include a match day program and scorecard. Car parking will be available on site free of charge. This fundraising event will support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the cricket club's facilities. Gates open at 09:30, and spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs and picnic blankets.
