The exhibition focuses on the latest drawings and paintings by New Zealand artist Brent Harris, as a continuation of his solo exhibition "Surrender and Capture" at the TarraWarra Art Museum in December 2023, which has been on tour to the Art Gallery of South Australia since July this year.

Akil Ahamat is a Malay artist and filmmaker from Sri Lanka. This exhibition is the second work commissioned by the gallery this year. In response to the theme of "Slow Cinema for Short Attention Span", Akil has created a series of fascinating multi-channel installations that reshape the audience's experience of film and stillness.

End your week with a cozy and fun workshop and join us for crochet - whether you're a longtime enthusiast or a complete newbie, we've got you covered! We'll have two granny square patterns picked out for beginners and pros, teach you how to make them, and provide some patterns for what to make once you have a few of them. We're incredibly excited to have crochet whizz Marta (IG: @institchesbymarta) jumping in as a second teacher - she will be leading a project for intermediate and serious crocheters, while Art Rats will be covering more basic techniques so whatever your skill level, there will be something to keep you engaged! Materials will be provided but any extra hooks & yarn are welcome and encouraged (especially if you have a specific colour palette in mind) Tickets for the workshop are available as Concessions, Standard, and Supporter - we want our workshops to be accessible and affordable to most, but if you can afford to pay more please do so we can cover our costs and keep this project going! We are back at the incredible Radical Roasters! We will be using their cafe space after hours but a selection of hot drinks and snacks will be available. The cafe has no steps and plenty of seating.
