Immerse yourself in the sounds of Cornwall's finest vocal group as they bring traditional and contemporary Cornish follk songs and shanties to life in this breathtaking open-air venue. A night of music, history, and atmosphere to remember. For over a decade, The Oggymen have championed contemporary Cornish folk music and celebrated those songs that bind us to our landscape, to our community, and to our past. Their wide repertoire ranges from trade union songs appropriated by Cornish miners in the 1980’s to those sung at Falmouth Working Boat regattas and Cornish pilot gig races within recent memory. Please read this important information about events at Trebah: · Doors will open 1 hour before the performance to allow time for you to explore the garden, have a picnic or just leisurely make your way to the amphitheatre to take your seat. · Doors will close 15 minutes after the start time of the performance. · We have a pop-up bar selling alcoholic and soft drinks. Pasties and sausage rolls will be available to purchase on arrival and in the interval. · This event takes place in our open-air amphitheatre and we are used to the Cornish weather! Outdoor events will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions, so please bring a coat! · Please allow 20 minutes before the performance starts to walk to the amphitheatre. · With tiered seating and plenty of leg room, there’s no need to bring your own chairs (but a cushion is a good idea). Please be aware, that seating is unreserved. · A number of cushioned seats with back supports are available at the amphitheatre on a first-come-first-served basis. · Trebah loves dogs but unfortunately they are unable to attend live performance events. · For large parties and groups, please arrive in plenty of time if you would like seats together. · Due to the topography of the garden there is limited access to the amphitheatre, which may not be suitable for all types of mobility vehicles. We will do everything we can to make sure you can see the show but please call us on 01326 252205 before booking to discuss. · For accessibility/carer tickets, please call us on 01326252205. · Our only toilets are within the Visitor Centre at the top of the garden. · Although many of our paths are lit, it is advisable to bring a torch with you. · Free parking is available for all events. We’re thrilled to welcome the incredible Chris Garcia Sullivanto headline a beautiful intimate event, with live music that sets the perfect tone for summer nights. Expect cheap drinks, delicious food, and a laid-back vibe in one of the most beautiful spots by the water. Come for the music, stay for the atmosphere — this is one night you won’t want to miss. Chris Garcia Sullivan is a singer-songwriter crafting nostalgic, heartfelt songs of indie-folk infused with country and Americana. His music, rooted in acoustic instruments and soulful vocals, evokes a longing for simpler times. Hailing from Spain and the UK and based in Bristol, Garcia Sullivan’s multinational upbringing provides a worldview to his music and inspiration to his songs about universal truths and human emotions. With a sound reminiscent of Flyte and Katy J Pearson, Garcia Sullivan is carving out a unique niche in the indie-folk scene in the UK. His introspective lyrics and timeless melodies deliver captivating songs of emotional honesty. Garcia Sullivan’s first single, Butterflies garnered international attention, earning him a place on the cover of Rizing Playlists 'Folk Rizing' playlist on Spotify. Alongside being placed in many large (5,000-20,000 follower) playlists on Spotify, the song was also picked up by indie folk giant Alexrainbird, who included it in their 2025 Indie Folk compilation on YouTube, scheduled for release on 14th March, with an estimated viewership of 300k to 20 million. His long-awaited debut EP, Butterflies, has been produced by MPG Breakthrough Producer Of The Year Nominee Elliot Vaughan (Frank Turner, Jason Ringenberg, Spunge), and the second single, Rewind, is out now.
