Get ready to take your mountain biking skills to the next level at the BMA Skills Clinic - Climbing & Descending in Boulder. This clinic is perfect for experienced riders who are comfortable on singletrack trails and want to improve their ability to navigate challenging natural trail features like rocks, roots, and logs. Led by knowledgeable instructors, this intermediate class will start by reviewing foundational skills before applying them to conquering rock features throughout Valmont Bike Park. Participants will learn how to navigate roots, logs, and rocks in both directions, perform wheel lifts to clear obstacles, and master climbing and descending techniques. You'll even have the opportunity to roll down large drops and land air-off drops with confidence. The clinic will be held on September 21, 2023, at Valmont Bike Park in Boulder. Please arrive at 5:15 pm for a 5:30 pm start time. The cost of the clinic is $70 for BMA members and $110 for non-members.
