Pilgrimage Of The Womb: Day Retreat (with Felicity Weston) | ookushana Workshop
Jun 8, 2025 (UTC+1)
Leeds
Sunday 8th June
10 am - 5:30 pm
Invitation:
This day retreat is for any woman ready to traverse the wild and beautiful landscape of the womb - with the intention to meet with unintegrated parts, heal and activate this powerful portal of creation.
This day retreat combines a learning aspect with deep self-inquiry, and self-initiation through plant spirit connection, somatic movement medicine, embodiment practices, & guided shamanic journeying with sound alchemy.
Each energetic gate of the womb is connected to a physical part of the womb/body, so this will be deeply healing on a physical level as well as mental and emotional - which are all intrinsically interwoven.
Although we have a destination in mind and heart (the 8th gate - the Void of creation), this journey is about exactly that - the journey - and every thought, feeling and emotion that rises along the way, as we meet ourselves more deeply.
The gates of the womb are each connected with different archetypal energies, elements, energies, shadows and gifts of wisdom.
Our primary intention is to become whole and integrated, by connecting to all parts of ourselves, through the magical portal that is our womb.
What To Expect Within Ceremony:
Grounding Meditation & Heart-Womb Connection
Plant Medicine Ceremony (Cacao + Rose)
Collaborative Journey Through The 8 Gates - Contemplation & Altar Creation
Womb-healing Luncheon
Somatic Movement Medicine & Embodiment Journey
Sacred Sound Journey & Light Language Activation
Conscious Closing
Who Is This For?
This journey is open to ALL women who are called to connect with and heal their womb - particularly women who are feeling disconnect with their sensuality, purpose or creativity, or struggling with physical womb issues, fertility issues, birth trauma or sexual trauma, and those carrying the weight of ancestral trauma.
Energy Exchange:
£144
Option to add the 9-month online course to deepen your journey with the womb with a huge discount & upgrade to CPD course with certification (upon completion of coursework)

Leeds Digital Ball 2025 | Royal Armouries Museum
Jun 12, 2025 (UTC+1)
Leeds
Want more than 3 tickets? Book here!
The fourth annual Leeds Digital Charity Ball takes place on the 12th June 2025, at the Royal Armouries Museum.
The 2025 Leeds Digital Charity Ball will be hosted at The Royal Armouries, New Dock Hall, and will bring together over 500 members of the North’s Digital and Technology community.
Whether you want to make new connections or see old friends, we have everyone in the room, from CTOs and CDIOs to entry-level talent. This is your chance to build meaningful relationships and even do some business while raising money for Leeds Community Foundation.
Introduction
Digital exclusion continues to be a major issue, with people living in digital poverty increasingly left out in a world where everything has become digital-first. To bridge the divide, people need access to three key things: equipment, connectivity, and skills.
Collaboration is key. With a group of board members and supporters from across the Leeds region, we have come together to ignite the tech community through an annual charity ball, creating a powerhouse fighting a common goal: helping the disadvantaged, abolishing digital exclusion, and driving positive change.
Digital technology and the internet can transform lives by creating opportunities and providing support where it’s needed most. To tackle the underlying causes of digital exclusion, we have created the annual Leeds Digital Charity Ball to challenge the digital divide and raise funds so more people can develop skills and access the technology needed to live in a digital world.
Impact So Far
In total, we have raised £225,000 since 2021. Last year, the ball was a sellout event, raising over £65,000, which directly supports Leeds Community Foundation, small charities, and community organisations within the city to help local people.
With support from 100% Digital Leeds, Leeds Community Foundation funds projects that take various approaches to addressing the digital divide in our communities, from one-to-one and group digital skills sessions to training digital champions. From using art to teach digital skills to providing support for those who are deaf or hard of hearing, organisations are tailoring their work to meet their communities’ needs.

ConnectUp: June 26, 2025 | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
If you're craving real connection that helps you grow (and not just a stack of business cards), then this one’s for you.
We all know the usual “networking” thing can feel... well, awks. So let’s do it differently.
ConnectUp is the event created for owners and founders of northern-based businesses who are done with surface-level chit chat and want to find actual community; the kind that lifts you up, challenges your thinking, and helps you grow in more ways than one.
Yes, we’ve got expert speakers and panels. Yes, there’s networking. But this isn’t a box-ticking day - it’s a full-on exploration of people, relationships, and how the different ways we connect can drive our businesses forward.
What’s on:
- 9 fab speakers sharing how you can grow your business when you're hanging out with the right people
- 4 panel discussions digging into what growth by community really looks like
- 2 networking sessions that show you how fun networking really can be
- An exhibition showcasing amazing northern-based businesses
We’re also using the day to show that not all connection looks the same. Some people thrive in online groups. Others in co-working get-togethers, accountability peer groups, mentoring circles, super-structured meetings or informal gatherings over coffee and cake.
And that’s kind of the point.
Different ways of getting together serve different purposes. ConnectUp is your chance to explore, find what works for you, and meet the people already making it happen.
And of course, this is the North.
So expect warmth, grit, big ideas, good biscuits, and a room full of talent from Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Hull, Newcastle and beyond.
This is your space to:
- Meet people who actually get what you do
- Seek out new and exciting ways to collaborate
- Feel inspired, supported and a little less “on your own”
Tickets are live. Come and discover how community can make you and your business grow faster and better.
This is about real connection - the kind that sticks.
See you there!

Another main aim of this course is to empower people to be able to complete their own jobs or projects at home and give them confidence in their own woodworking ability. We want to make people comfortable using timber yards, tool suppliers and places such as Leeds Wood Recycling
Who is the tutor?
We have a pool of experience makers from a range of backgrounds, such as furniture makers, luthiers, picture framers, eco builders and joiners.
What do I need to bring?
All tools are supplied. Lunch is not supplied so make sure you've got some with you. Please wear clothes suitable for dusty work and sensible shoes. We provide the hot drinks and biscuits for the break. Please bring warm clothing – we recommend you bring layers – it can be cold in our workshop even in summer.. It's also a good idea to bring a notepad and pencil so you can make notes!
Where can I park my car or bike?
There is free car parking opposite LWR (it’s free to use for LWR participants.) You're welcome to bring your bike in the warehouse to keep it safe.
A small note
Leeds Wood Recycling is a social enterprise and not-for-profit organisation, so it’s good to know that by enrolling on a course with us you are supporting your local community. We offer upto 2 free places per course as a thank you to our long-term volunteers and members of staff. This experience gives people who are marginalised from the job training market free experience and training which can help them develop and make positive changes in their lives. We promise to continue diverting wood waste from landfill and continue to support marginalised individuals creating a supportive community.
