The Bike Hub at the University of Leeds is pleased to announce that it will be hosting Bike Maintenance 101 sessions for staff and students. If you find yourself struggling with clunky gears, annoying punctures, or dodgy brakes, these sessions are perfect for you. The event will also focus on the Unlocking Collections priority within Project Grants. The morning session will consist of a presentation introducing the funding programme, as well as a case study from the region that will provide insights into the application process. Following a refreshment break, there will be a workshop led by an Arts Council Museums Relationship Manager. This workshop will cover what constitutes a good idea for a museum project and what makes a strong project grant application. Collaborative working, partnership funding, and support will also be discussed. In the afternoon, delegates will have the opportunity to sign up for 20-minute one-to-one sessions with a Museum Relationship Manager. These sessions will be available on a first come, first served basis. The event will take place at Leeds City Museum in Millennium Square, Leeds.
