Your kids will be introduced to the world of printmaking by this amazing print artist. She will inspire and guide participants through a range of printmaking methods and techniques. By the end of the workshop kids will have fallen in love with this amazing art form. No prior experience needed. In this Repeat Pattern Stamping workshop your kids will be guided through the design, carving and printing of beautiful repeat patterns by hand. After each session your kids will take home a variety of cards and prints, as well as having the skills to keep on printing and stamping at home. Great fun and easy to do for beginners. Experience the Viva la Earring 2 workshop led by renowned eco-friendly artist Sue Garrard in the serene setting of Gallery 1855 in Tea Tree Gully. Delve into the art of creating stunning eco-friendly earrings using reclaimed materials such as pre-cut metal and discarded Tupperware, alongside sterling silver findings and acrylic paint. Let your creativity shine as you paint and decorate the pieces before enameling them in a small kiln powered by tea lights. Shape unique designs with cut plastic pieces and assemble your earrings with sterling silver components. This workshop is open to participants aged 16 and above, regardless of prior experience in crafting. The event will take place on February 16, 2025, with a workshop fee of A$50 inclusive of all materials and equipment. Remember to wear art-friendly attire and bring your own snacks, while tea and coffee will be provided. In case of any changes to your attendance, kindly notify the organizers by emailing arts@cttg.sa.gov.au before 9 am on January 30, 2025, to facilitate any necessary refunds.
