The Enduro Skills Development Day in Thornton Dale is a great opportunity to enhance race skills for Enduro events or to refine abilities on steep descents. AZPA members will be guided through this exhibition with AZPA member and curator Rebecca Ross. In addition, members will hear from the participating artists and see their work presented. The “Made in America” exhibition was conceived as a dynamic response to the themes and ideas woven throughout the musical “Hamilton.” Each artwork is imbued with reflections on American life and its diverse cultures. The attention each artist dedicates to exploring the nation around them invites viewers into scenes that resonate with both familiarity and discovery. Through photography, printmaking and collage, the pieces in this exhibition capture ways in which individual experiences intersect with larger cultural narratives, presenting viewers with encounters that are both personal and universal. The artists featured in “Made in America” share a collective interest in the people, places and things that make the United States unique. Photographers Emily Matyas and Dean Terasaki explore the immigrant experience. Vivian Spiegelman celebrates personal accomplishments through her photographs of senior athletes. Artist Ron Bimrose uses photography, mixed media and collage to communicate themes of home, family and memory.
