This groundbreaking study was featured on the BAFTA award-nominated BBC program "The Doctor Who Gave Up Drugs." Dr Harper's influence extends to public health initiatives, as he presented at the Scottish Parliament on the adoption of outdoor swimming as a preventive measure in March 2023.
