SF Bicycle Coalition Smart City Cycling 2: Maneuvering is a crucial on-bike class designed to equip participants with the necessary bike-handling skills to confidently and safely navigate through city traffic. This class, which is the second installment of the Smart City Cycling series, will take place in a car-free space. Prior completion of Smart City Cycling 1: Classroom or Intro to Biking in SF is a mandatory prerequisite for this course. If you haven't taken the prerequisite, you can register for it at sfbike.org/edu. During this class, you will learn a range of essential topics, including riding with one hand to signal, maintaining a straight line while scanning over your shoulder, and executing crash-avoidance maneuvers.
