Step back in time to 1950s Manchester, where the newly established NHS is under investigation. Arnold Grace is on a mission to uncover the truth behind the frequent disappearance of pharmaceutical products at The Royal Infirmary Hospital. As the investigation unfolds, corruption, robbery, fraud, and even conjoined twins emerge. This fast-paced and hilarious play combines the comedic styles of "The Naked Gun" and "39 Steps." Prepare to be entertained with a script that has been described as a true gem by the Manchester Theatre Awards. Don't miss this highly acclaimed production, which was deemed a highlight at the Greater Manchester Fringe. Experience a night of laughter and silliness at the Health Under Fire Anniversary Rehearsed Reading @ The Peer Hat on January 28, 2024. Admission is by donation.
