On Yer Bike is a new cycling project open to anyone aged 12 to 26: who lives, works, or studies in Dundee focusing on how cycling, outdoor activity and peer support can have a positive impact on your mental health! Launching with a special 2 day taster event this 14th & 15th November (2pm till 5pm) you'll be cycling from The Dundee Cycle Hub in the city center to Broughty Ferry on Day 1 and Invergowrie on Day 2, with sessions led by a Mountain Bike Expert and support from Feeling Strong volunteers. The project will consist of upskilling you to: know how to carry out safety checks on a bike, tackle a variety of trail terrains and improve your overall cycling ability! Free Open Access Workshop Session! These sessions are a great chance for you to come along and use our workshop and tools to repair your own bike. The sessions are aimed at people who have a little bit of knowledge already but there will be staff here to guide you along the way. Please note - this is not a taught or structured course/lesson. This is for people to bring their own bikes and carry out tasks with our supervision and help. You will need to book a timeslot and you will be assigned to a workstand when you arrive.
