Join the Silversmithing Level 3 - Anticlastic Band Rings (with or without spinners) class in Seattle. This intermediate level class, taught by Christina Bengtson, will teach students how to create shaped rings from sheet metal using anticlastic raising techniques. The class will take place on Thursday, February 29th, from 11:30am to 4pm at NW Rockhounds. During the class, students will learn how to size, cut, texture, and solder sterling silver sheet to create a well-fitting and comfortable ring. They will also have the opportunity to add spinners and basic patina according to their preference. Please note that there is a $20 kit fee for this class, which should be paid in cash or check to the instructor on the day of the class. Additionally, this class requires prior experience or completion of Metal Fundamentals, The Jewelers Saw, Silversmithing 1 - Butane Torch, or Silversmithing 2 - Jewelry Soldering. Make sure to check your email a few days before the class for further instructions. The classroom is located upstairs and can accommodate up to 6 students. Masks are optional.
