Fantastic hotel, lovely location giving the best night view of Manhattan, easy access by 10 minute ferry ride every 20 minutes, rooms were large with 2 televisions,on site Italian restaurant served delicious meals, staff were very friendly and polite, also bus service outside hotel for cheaper access to Manhattan.
Superb all round
In the suburbs of Princeton, on the main road, with a large parking lot.
Same Hilton, the front desk is much friendlier than the one in New York. The room is very large, like an American one.
Anyway, there are no toiletries and slippers, but there are two bottles of free water.
It is recommended to stay here if you drive by yourself, so you don't have to waste time going to the city. But there are no shopping malls to eat in the surrounding area.
**Review: Convenient and Comfortable Stay Near the Airport**
I recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Newark during a layover, and I must say, the experience was fantastic, primarily due to its unbeatable location and excellent services. The hotel is conveniently located just minutes away from the airport, making it an ideal choice for travelers like me who need a quick and comfortable place to rest between flights.
The standout feature of this hotel, without a doubt, was the complimentary airport shuttle service. The shuttle was punctual, clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made sure my luggage was handled with care and even provided quick tips about the hotel amenities during the short ride. This service took away the stress of finding transportation late at night and made my stay seamless from the moment I landed.
The hotel itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, and a quiet atmosphere that allowed me to rest peacefully. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
While I didn’t get a chance to explore much of the dining options, the breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold items, which was a great way to start my day before heading back to the airport.
Overall, Crowne Plaza] exceeded my expectations, especially with its thoughtful shuttle service and proximity to the airport. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free stay near the airport. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!
The room is large, the environment is beautiful, the greening is good, the parking is convenient, and the shopping and eating around are more convenient.
Great hotel, not too big maybe 6 floors. Good location, close to where we needed to go. Had a double bedroom, beds are comfortable. Parking is located behind hotel in a structure connected to a business building. Subway (sandwiches) is next door. Mini market, coffee shop and small restaurant located on 1st floor lobby area.
Very quiet place, there is no car around you, you can't go anywhere, the room has a kitchen to cook your own meals, every day cleaning, including washing dishes, the room is very big!

LLB1170The hotel service is very bad. Takes so long just check in when I was the only one checking in at that time. It was at 1 am checked in. They gave me a room in which someone is already inside the room. So they apologize and gave me free upgrade to suite room. Finally can get a room at almost 3am. It was very sucks.
GGuest UserMy room was 486 directly over the Yard. I had to call and ask what time the Yard clised as they was still open and playing the music at 1:30am. If you book a room be sure and adk upon check-in where it's located if you plan on sleeping.
GGuest UserWas the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. They were working directly under our room at 8am on a sunday. Hammering and power tools and then the fire alarm went off and was told by the people in the hallway we had to evacuate. Was just a horrible morning. Consumers appreciate the fact that you want to improve your facility but please be mindful of your guests staying there especially on a weekend. The reason why we even stayed over night was to have a good nights rest after along Saturday evening. So it really was horrible to be woken up to banging and power tools when all I wanted was a good nights rest.
GGuest UserThis is an absolutely gigantic hotel, inside and out. If you do not know how to read a map then this wouldn't be for you. There are 6 floors and many different elevators that do not all lead to the same place. Finding your car or even getting outside takes about 20 mins. Be prepared to walk a lot. It's also extremely packed at all times, and as expected the prices are higher than normal. It is centrally located, on the boardwalk and many things to do. But make sure you add lots of extra time. Also not all staff can give directions either which makes it difficult. Takes a couple days to get acquainted.
BBrandi JaymesMy check in and room were perfect by the absolutely lovely front desk woman who works 7pm when I checked in I wish I remembered her name… the very next day, I was overcharged $50 by a morning front desk employee who informed me they were “ sold out” and my “ only option would be to book through her” and she accepted 200 CASH “as long as I did the $25 deposit on a credit or debit card in my name”…. I was pressed for time and simply believed what I was being told in good faith as I’ve had never had an issue w a Hilton property over reservation charges and I am a Honors member for many years and much travel… suffice to say… I found availability for that night hours later when I had the time to review and attempt to book my third night…. Rooms were still(!) available online at rates lower that the 224 I was charged …. Third night I saved over fifty dollars by booking on Third party….
My suggestion is that prospective travelers Book Prior to stay and not reserve at front desk… this is common knowledge, but to tell me they were SOLD oUt and she was “ doing me a favor by extending my stay and allowing me to pay cash “( or perhaps ripping off both me and perhaps Hilton hotels ? I’m speculating on that… wish she had been accurate on my options if not outright LIE …. And I do not want to take Anything away from the great exp I had at check in ….the hotel is very comfortable without being modern in that way that NYC boutique hotels are… I find that sp**** mod look for hotel rather cold and pretentious…. Great smart TV w all access a clean room and all the amenities are what make this hotel a must if traveling to the area… just look thru Google hotels to find ur Very best rate .. and enjoy!
I sure did! Thank u Hampton inn Neptune, NJ!

JJ.KerrBooked this hotel as a pre-cruise hotel that was convenient to airport with free shuttle. Also chose this hotel as they allegedly had a buffet breakfast. Even pgined hotel to confirm the breakfast and how much it was. What they FAILED to tell us was that the breakfast was ONLY on weekends. Shoukd have been a detail to disclose, without having to be asked, if was in fact every day. Airport shuttle was as expected: runs every 1/2 hour (pickup at airport @15&45 min after the hour, departs hotel on the hour and 1/2 hour.). Check-in went fine, HOWEVER...arrival at assigned room we could hear the air conditioner ”screaming” a squeal so loud we could hear it in the hallway before we even opened the room door. Had to go back to front desk to get reassigned. We never had occasion to try to use our room phone, until day 2, when we discovered it didn't work. Called for maintenance, who offered to replace phone, then came back and said he couldn't. (Now can't get a wake-up-call for early morning departure, unless we were willing to move and change rooms AGAIN!) And to make it worse, maintenance couldn't get the alarm clock to work, either, and he had to replace it too.
On-site restaurant is decently large, with decent menu, but prices are outrageous! ($20 for a burger!)
All hotel staff were warm and friendly.
NOTE: For being a traveller's hotel, very disappointed rooms do NOT have in-room safes. Over-all, could have stayed at the Crowne Plaza for only $7 more. We'll be sure to stay at the Crowne next time.

SSummerlovex3I stayed on and off about a month and it had its ups and downs the location is great the house keeping staff is wonderful not so much management he singled me out gave me a hard time told some of us it’s a 3 week max stay but others didn’t get that when I informed them of mold and water leak he accused me of taking showers and letting the water run out when in fact there’s a leak behind the wall so I used the towels to soak it up they got a little dirty and I was told if this keeps happening I was going to lose my deposit for the towels then when I booked the jacuzzi suite I was told. Dogs are not allowed in suits and if then downgraded my room no reimbursement for the difference and was told I could have the red quilts because once again I would lose the security deposit if the dog or my family gets 1 spec on the white blanket never gave me a red blanket but I didn’t get any specs and the white one 🙀 idk what management had against me but even with the free pet policy and other horrific moments like not getting my jacuzzi suite getting told the only room available was the room that I booked a Jacuzzi suite for because it smelled like mold and it had the water leak issue so then miraculously, they don’t see my booking for the Jacuzzi if they see it for the room that I just had that I already checked out of so they gave somebody else the Jacuzzi suite downgraded me to a white sheet suit that my dog for the first night couldn’t sleep in but then miraculously could as soon as we said, will just pull the booking and cancel then that suit was available had to take a break from there.
GGuest UserHotel was clean and modern. I was surprised at check in with an additional $20 charge for parking that I was not aware of when I booked online with Trip.com If I had known in advance I might not have chosen this hotel over others when all costs were concerned. Free breakfast was a sad affair. Probably get better selection and quality at a homeless shelter. Overall trip was acceptable.
