Recommended! Great location which is very convenient. Nearby got convenience store, fnb, mosque. Clean room and very clean bathroom almost like new. They also provide a decent breakfast which tasted great. Cons is the parking space is limited and narrow so your only choice is road side parking or paid parking. Room very narrow and no tables to place your luggage or to eat. Which is very annoying if you like to tapao food back to room.

overall the location of the hotel is excellent, central of the city and very accessible to anywhere. the family room was decent, the bed could be improved by replacing it with a better/newer model as the current one has a dent on it. gym was decent, your average hotel gym. swimming pool, in my opinion, for a 4 star hotel, is extremely small. it's like a kiddie pool.

The good: No deposit upon checking in, check in and out was a breeze, parking provided, the room carpet is clean and centralised aircond cools the room very quickly, the bed and bedding is comfy, cleanliness is tiptop, there's a pool and gym that's nice, and the TV channels were decent The bad: Did not validate my car plate and upon driving out, i was charged rm60+ for overnight parking. this was sorted out very quickly but was a hassle, the entrance to room from the parking lot is weird and not disabled friendly. Overall, i had a good rest at st giles wembley at a decent price. Joined the membership and got a nice cup of coffee at the lobby. I got a room near the lift, so there were noises outside thus the soundproofing is not very good. But felt safe and the clean room feels good. A solid 4 out of 5, could have been better if it came with breakfast minus the hiccup at parking fees.

I must say Gurney Bay Hotel is like an elegant lady. It exudes a feel of grandness and elegance although the property is not young. There were guests dancing at the Lobby lounge, the breakfast spread was good, the sea view from the room was great, especially sun rise. And it's just 15 min walk to Pulau Tikus market that has a wide variety of local delights for breakfast.

This is my first experience of having to wait 1 hour for check-in a hotel. Check-in was supposed to be at 3pm but we arrived in Penang at 7pm, we expected the hotel room to be available so we could check-in straight away, but unfortunately our room is still not available. We are very grateful to a female receptionist (wearing a hijab) who was willing to solve this problem within 15 minutes compared to the first male receptionist who made us wait for almost 1 hour to check in. I'm sorry for throwing a tantrum at the counter because we have to wait a long time to follow, we're really tired from traveling so far. The hotel has offered 8 free breakfast sets as a sign of apology for our loss of 5 hours to check-in. Thank you again for the efforts of the reception girl. The hotel is very comfortable and the food is very good, the only mistake was the moment we checked in. I hope I won't have this kind of check-in experience again. Thank you

Only stayed for 2 nights as a single person, but in a 2 person twin room. If 2 people are there, it will definitely be tight since there will be little space for luggage/bags and to move around. The beds can be moved slightly, so it gives some more space. Also, the mattress is not sturdy on the frame, so it can shift while sleeping. Otherwise, the room was good with standard amenities. The unique door to close the washroom is also the door for the closet, I assume that was to optimize space. Water refill and ironing station in the hallway (apparently outlets in the hallway were broken, so staff let me iron in the room). Slippers, washroom items, etc... all standard. The front desk mentioned room service was one every two days, but can be requested at the front desk if you need anything. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when coming from PEN late due to flight delay. Otherwise, the location was extremely convenient since it was just parallel street to 1st Avenue Shopping Mall, which link connects with Prangin Mall, the TOPs and Kimberly Street (for night market). Just on the other side of the street are a lot of local restaurants that were popular/queues up for their food. Also, can have easy access to myRapid Penang at Komtar for airport OR CAT to Jetty for Feri. Overall, good location convenience and value for night sleep/exploring Georgetown area.

Love the room space as there's 3 of us. Good location near to yummy food points. Water point outside the room to reduce plastic bottles. 👍🏼 However, the room TV is too small, and it's not a smart TV, came with very limited channels. Gym is small, equipment is spoilt. Pool is also v small. If you don't mind all these, Hotel Neo+ is definitely a place where you can consider. Worth the money.

Staying 2 nights at Club Family Room. The room consists of 1 king bed and 1 sofa bed, and it's perfect to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. Amenities are from L'occitane. Club Floor guests can enjoy free flow drinks at Club Lounge, and my kids love it so much. However, there were some stains on the bathtub. The swimming pool is not big. The adult pool is 1.2m and 2m water depth. The kids' pool is only 0.3m deep. But, the breakfast choices were sufficient and tasted good. There are plenty of parking lots at the basement car park. But, there was no elevator from the car park to the lobby. Guests have to use a staircase from the car park to the lobby. Parking is complimentary for hotel guests. LOCATION is superb as it's in the centre of GEORGETOWN, and Jen Hotel is just next to The Top and Komtar. It's within walking distance to New Lane Food Stalls, Penang Road famous cendol, etc.

The hotel is very old located in the center of George Twon closer to seaside. I have booked family room. Space and lay out is ok but 2 issues, 1 the inner parents room has a large empty space by the window (seaview the say but hardly seeing tho) we were puzzled why no pair of sofa chairs with a tea table, what is this space for? Super odd... 2 the connecting door for two rooms doesn't close well, not saying the lock doesn't work, no no, the door can't even able to be fully shut. Services is almost zero. Don't count on it. All in all besides the location and fact has family room options, I don't have anything else to write home about this hotel. Oh and the sound proof is zero too, not saying between our 2 rooms. I basically had bad sleep whole 4 nights stay cos outside in the hall almost never stopped having doors open/shutting and people loudly talking/walking by noises... Won't book again.

Had an amazing trip with family and celebrating my daughter's birthday at the resort, front desk Felicia is truly amazing!!!! She surprised us with a cake and wishes card to my daughter to our room. It made our day so special and our kids refused to go back and we extended out stay to 3 nights, the pool for kids is so fun especially facing the beach. Breakfast is amazing frm 7am-11am. We will surely be back for our next trip

I stay in hard rock over than 10 times , lagoon deluxe room , I very like it ,comfort , especially the food...mamamia ....very nice...for my kids swim and play it's such a good an relaxing place for my family

Had a wonderful experience yet again at Ascott. We'll appointed rooms, lovely infinity pool and great accessibility make this a good choice. Above and beyond everything else, the service from Mr Yau was immaculate. Felt like a home away from home. Thank you Mr Yau!

Great stay, service wise is alright but I don't feel much interaction from the staffs. The service at the restaurant is excellent, though. The dipping tub at the balcony, however, is not usable as the drain plug is leaking. The fabric chair and sofa is also stained, leaving it less than desirable although still usable.

George Hotel is very good and exellcent hotel with welcome drinks. Family room with balcony and free of charge snacks and drinks. Good location for shopping and near restaurant. clean swimming pool and yummy breakfast buffet. very happy living with George hotel.

Great hotel for close proximity to Malls, FoodStreet, Beach Coast walks etc. It has very couteous n professiinal customer service with a kindest smile that warms your hearts each time you past them by. Aboveall, rooms and amenities are well design, fresh and clean too. Such a comfortable outstanding place to welcome every guest. This is my second time here. There is so much creativity in their food offerings in and buffets specials every weekend too. Its really a go to hotel with reasonable pricing of a 4 star hotel. I will be back the next visit to penang.

E&O is our favourite hotel in Penang. Being a local Penangite, we frequently ate at Sarkies and even had our wedding in this hotel 10 years ago. We're back in this hotel for our anniversary, however we were a little disappointed with our stay. The bathtub in our corner suite is extremely dirty and stained. We asked the housekeepers to clean it as we wanted to use it. Worse of all, when we filled the tub with water, to our horror, the water was brown in colour!! Not sure if there is proper maintenance done to ensure the water supply is not tainted. The housekeepers also did not refill the complimentary mini bar items despite stating that our suite includes replenishment of the mini bar items on a daily basis. The surface area and tables were not wiped properly as well when they came to clean the room. We hope the management would seriously look into this matter, especially on the water source and overall cleanliness of the suite / bathroom.

George Hotel is very good and exellcent hotel with welcome drinks. Family room with balcony and free of charge snacks and drinks. Good location for shopping and near restaurant. clean swimming pool and yummy breakfast buffet. very happy living with George hotel.

I had a fantastic experience at Penang Marriott Hotel. The staff were warm and professional, making check-in seamless. The room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning sea views, with a bed so comfortable it guaranteed restful nights. The team’s attention to detail and exceptional service truly elevated my stay. Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is new and modern, with stylish decor and comfortable rooms. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I had an issue with noisy and smoking neighbors, they promptly changed my room without any hassle. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional, always willing to help with anything I needed. A special mention goes to the Indonesian woman working at breakfast—unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she went out of her way to make sure I was well taken care of. Her warm and attentive service made my mornings even more enjoyable. The only downside to my stay was the connecting rooms. The soundproofing through the connecting doors isn’t great, so I could hear everything from the neighboring room. Additionally, when the guests next door were smoking, it was if they were smoking in my room.

A stylish and classy hotel, strategically located near Little India, art area, food museum, all are a few minutes away. The jetty is about a 15 minute walk. However as a solo female traveller, all the adjacent streets are dark and quiet so didn’t feel comfortable walking around after 21:00. Room was cosy and nicely designed, bed was comfortable, and the free mini bar and sweets left in the jar daily was a lovely touch. Breakfast was ok, but the in-room food service was excellent and meals were fantastic. The room also has a water filter, saves buying bottled water. All staff were pleasant and helpful. The views from the rooftop pool are great, albeit the pool is on the smaller size. Enjoyed my three nights and would recommend the hotel.

When choosing, I was worried about the smell of the newly opened hotel. I was entangled for a long time, but I liked it very much after moving in. I like the design of the hotel very much. It has a Nanyang style, and the staff's clothes are also in line with the overall design. The service staff are very nice. The welcome drink given when the early flight arrived was very refreshing. I can check in at 12:00. The front desk guy said that it was opened the day before I stayed there, and I was the first guest of the day. The room design is worthy of being a new hotel. It is very reasonable, and there is an independent cloakroom and dressing table. The bathtub and the sea view facing the living room are very pleasant. It is a handheld ironing machine, no longer a bulky iron. I like it very much! I was very entangled before deciding whether to stay at the Dongjia Hotel or the Autograph. After going out and passing by the Dongjia Hotel, I felt that my choice was very wise! Because it is really noisy at night, it is very quiet compared to the Autograph! I was also surprised to receive the hotel's turndown gift when I came back at night. The disadvantage is that it has just opened, and there is still a little smell. It is estimated that it will be fine after a while. Then the smoke sensor above the bed flickered, which might affect those who have trouble sleeping. I also reported it to the lady at the front desk and I think it will be resolved.

As usual Rasa Sayang’s hospitality is one of the best. All our meals there were awesome. The place is surrounded by lush greeneries and very well maintained. A very calm and serene place to chill and relax

The mattress it’s very comfortable to sleep with the spectacular view of sea especially the sunset. The garden area is also amazing & had a shoulder and back massage it’s so relaxing. My daughter she really enjoyed the kids pool & play area. The room headboard besides, the dining small steel table and some areas it has very sharp edges which can be really dangerous for small kids. We never watched the TV at all as we really wanted to watch before bed. very less channel selection & no screen mirror options or even built in Netflix or YouTube makes us really bored. Hate that part. The shower glass door should have a lock. Can’t even enjoy the shower as needs to be quick because worry might my wife or daughter just bump in by pushing the glass door. We were there for four days & three nights. I would say the worst breakfast i ever had. For a huge breakfast area you served very minimum choice of food. The nasi lemak sambal it’s so sour like having sour plum juice. The egg station also omelette it also taste terrible with the cheese because it’s not a good kind cheese. The cake only 2 choices and it’s the same for the entire 4 days and terrible. The ham in the serving tray was sinking in the water nobody bothered to check. The noodles & fried rice it also so tasteless. Coffee should be the best kicker for breakfast, when the machine pressed for coffee you only get a small shot for a big coffee mug you kept there. So we have to press it multiple times to make one mug of coffee and the milk supposedly to be in warm but it’s so cold and when you add in to coffee it immediately becomes cold coffee. You guys really failed the breakfast. It’s total disappointment & feels not worth the price of paying so high but in return it’s so bad

Customer service was top notch, very friendly staff. Special thanks to Ember who helped to change our room nearer to the lift as our elderly folks are not able to walk far. Breakfast was superb, lots of variety. Bed was comfy, we had lovely snooze. They even have a kids club where your kids can spend some time playing in there - a rare feature even among 5 stars hotel nowadays. Swimming pool is shaded by the hotel building in the morning so we could swim till noon and don't even feel any heat from the sun, but the opposite happens during the evening where the sun is fully blazing down on the pool. We went during the weekdays so there were less people but during weekends, you could barely swim around. Now on the not-so-good things - the car park is all stairs, no ramp, totally not friendly to the elderly and had to carry my luggage through the stairs. And you still need to pay RM 3 per day for it!! The hotel is across the road from the beach so you have to walk across a bridge and a deep long stairs down to get to the beach and it is quite dangerous, esp for kids and elderly people. All in all, we enjoyed our time there but there are many better hotels around Batu Ferringi.

I ask for sejadah but the staff said only have one and already take by other cust before me. Next morning I wait for my breakfast until 8am theres no breakfast serve. Dont know where can I ask cause theres no staff. I also whatapps the staff which I get the no at the door but no respond from them. cust from another room also asking for their breakfast and us waiting so long 🥲
