Ebisuya Ryokan

Fresh fish were carefully cooked instead of a large plate dawn and served one by one like a small restaurant. I was able to eat slowly with alcohol while feeling happy. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was also friendly and gentle.
Uwajima Teminal Hotel

I stayed in a twin room, but the bed was large and clean, and the room was larger than I expected, so it was easy to spend. I was happy to have a coffee stick as well as a tea pack. Also, the TV position was at the bedside, so it was hard to see while sleeping. The step between the room and the unit bus was quite deep, and it was a little difficult to get in and out, and the door of the unit bus was difficult to close.
Ana Crowne Plaza Matsuyama

Facilities: The facilities are quite complete, and I think they are also very good in the local area. I saw many locals renting the venue for weddings or graduation ceremonies. There is a small shopping mall downstairs of the hotel, and the commercial street is very close. The location is really good. Hygiene: Not bad, just normal level Environment: Very good Service: Normal level, the front desk is still very enthusiastic
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Matsuyama

Corner room with extra bed, slightly small room, 2 suitcases can be opened, budget hotel is very affordable, cost-effective. Convenient location, shopping street is just outside, and Matsuyama Castle cable car station is within walking distance. Tai fish rice, eel rice, pork chop rice are all good at the corner. Parking is 1200 yen per night. The air conditioning system is not stable and a bit cold.
Shimanami Prime Hotel Imabari

1 night stay Location: Great location, 5 minutes walk from JR Imabari, nearby is the famous yakiniku and tamagoyaki restaurant Haku Lotte, and there is a hot spring on the rooftop for bathing Service: Attentive, fast and proactive, answering all questions, very polite Room: Sufficient space, reasonable layout, elegant decoration, comfortable bedding, clean and sanitary, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the shower has strong water power, and the sound insulation effect is ideal Breakfast: Many choices, very rich, both Japanese and Western, as well as local specialties, replenished quickly, and the coffee is particularly good
Dogo Prince Hotel

We wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!
Yamashiroya Ryokan

The ryokan is located very near the Vine bridge but is quite old looking. The dinner and breakfast are super delicious and is the Japanese style with many small dishes. It was the accommodation with the best dining options throughout my 19 days travel in japan. There is a bathhouse in the ryokan which guests can use. The rooms are all located on the 2nd or 3rd floor, together with the toilet and shower. Room was huge with tatami and can fit in at least 4 person. We were allowed to bring our bikes into the room but we laid them on some cloth to prevent the dirtying of the flooring. Good value for money

I took a two-day ride on Bohai Road on Children's Island and booked this homestay halfway through the night. It was unexpectedly good. The wife and wife were very rich in breakfast and dinner. However, it is very comfortable to have a hot spring on the first floor. To go to the hot spring, you must bring your own bath towels from the room. The service staff does not speak English. You can use translation software to communicate. The service is very warm and thoughtful. Even the toilet is a bit inconvenient outside the room. In addition, if you bring your children, it is best to say in advance that you have to prepare breakfast and dinner. Children’s breakfast and dinner will be charged extra. Japanese-style beds can be added at an extra charge.
Hotel Patio Dogo
9.1/593 Reviews
Very well located hotel in Dogo Onsen. Shops and restaurants around the corner. Few minutes walk to the Dogo station (tram and bus). Free good coffee for breakfast (even if you don’t buy breakfast (not expensive)). Helpful staff. Smallish room with excellent bed and shower/bath. Very good Price-Quality. On the ‘hill’ behind the Honkan Onsen (seen from the hotel) there is an Information. They have some free short walks printed. There is also a free footbath with a view on the Honkan (and the Patio hotel). Famous temple 51 is 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel or take a bus.
