Hotel near Changping Valley/Ethnic Customs Street,Xiaojin
The hotel is located in Changpinggou Scenic Area, one of the three core scenic spots of Mount Siguniang. It is situated beneath the four snow capped mountains of Mount Siguniang at an altitude of 3300 meters, with magnificent views of the snow capped mountains and the Rizhao Golden Mountain outside the window. Each room in the hotel is equipped with full house underfloor heating and oxygen concentrators, eliminating your worries about cold and high fever. For the vast majority of people, an altitude of 3300 meters is generally suitable for moderate exercise. Changpinggou Scenic Area is the best location to admire the four snow capped mountains of Mount Siguniang. The highest peak, Yaomei Peak, has snow all year round. Opening the curtains in the morning, you can see the magnificent snow capped mountains, and on sunny days, there will be a view of the golden mountains with sunshine. The hotel rooms are of first-class quality, equipped with Marshall sound system, Dyson hair dryer, Balmain hair care, high-quality mini bar, and Jinkoer latex mattress, allowing you to sleep comfortably even in 5A level scenic spots. Full butler service, driver pick-up and drop off service at Changpinggou Tourist Center in Siguniangshan Town, taking care of your travel throughout the process. The hotel is about a 17 minute drive from Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area, which is convenient to reach. Guests heading to Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area need to purchase tickets in advance. Looking forward to meeting you under the snow capped mountains.

"The B&B boasts an excellent location right within the Changping Valley scenic area. The rooms and the restaurant directly face all four peaks of Siguniang Mountain, with the 'Little Sister Peak' (Yaomei Peak) being particularly prominent. We were incredibly lucky to witness snow-capped mountains, a starry sky, and even a glimpse of the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan). The B&B rooms are well-equipped, featuring underfloor heating, oxygen generators, and humidifiers. The underfloor heating was constantly on, ensuring the room was warm the moment we stepped in. The decor was cozy, and each room had a private courtyard, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Although I didn't dare use the bathtub at this altitude, it seemed to be of high quality and very clean. A comprehensive set of good quality disposable toiletries was provided, along with complimentary snacks, beverages, and fruits. The B&B offers three meals a day. Breakfast was rich and varied; both the rice noodles and regular noodles were delicious. The Sichuan fermented tofu with plain congee was particularly excellent. On our second day, when we visited Haizigou where there are no dining options, they even packed us a simple lunch for free. The freshly ground coffee at breakfast was also a nice touch. The ******* hot pot for dinner was quite good and warmed us up. They also offered simple Chinese dishes and pizza. What truly stood out was the service – incredibly thoughtful and responsive. All our requests were met. They provided car pick-up and drop-off to designated locations, saving us the worry of driving on mountain roads ourselves, which was a huge plus for female drivers. They actively helped with luggage, bringing it directly to our room. On the day we checked in, we had first traveled from Jiaju to Shuangqiao Valley, arriving at the B&B quite late. We had pre-ordered dinner, and upon arrival, feeling ravenous, the kind lady at the front desk thoughtfully suggested we eat first and even offered us glucose water to prevent altitude sickness. They were always ready to answer any questions about sightseeing and transportation, offering helpful tips. Upon departure, they gave us small gifts and proactively asked for suggestions for improvement, humbly accepting feedback on the tastes of friends from different regions. Overall, the experience was fantastic."

"Upon early check-in, I found that my reserved mountain view room was located by the road. After speaking with the front desk, the hotel immediately offered a complimentary upgrade to a river view room, which was much quieter and offered a more scenic view. Both the in-room and external facilities were excellent, comfortable, and spotless. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful. All the benefits promised on my booking were fully delivered. The hotel is currently undergoing a second phase of expansion, and I look forward to even more facilities and room options in the near future."

"I chose this hotel after reading the reviews on Ctrip. The room facilities are excellent, no strange odors, and they even provide oxygen. The location is great, with a small plaza right outside the entrance. To the right, there's a snack shop called 'Youming,' which is very convenient. We drove here, and they have a dedicated parking lot with staff to help move cars, which was a thoughtful touch! As we were leaving, they even gave us some tea to try. Aba is beautiful, Likuan is wonderful, we'll definitely be back!"

"I absolutely have to recommend this hotel! First off, it's steeped in ethnic cultural charm with truly unique decor. The owner is a descendant of the Han imperial family, and the entire hotel is decorated in the Han style. Even the beds in each room are part of his antique collection. Secondly, it's super convenient, just 100 meters from the subway – exit C1 of Line 10 is right in front. Plus, it's only 250 meters from Wuhou Temple. I forgot to take pictures inside the hotel. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions – a taxi ride is only about 10-20 yuan. I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The bed in the standard room was huge, I think it was even bigger than 1.35 meters. I particularly loved having a washing machine and a fridge. The staff's service was fantastic; they promptly handled any requests and greeted me warmly every time I came and went. The room decor wasn't super refined, but it's perfectly reasonable for the price.

The room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent amenities. Since I was traveling with a baby, the concierge reached out to me before my arrival to check if I had any special requests, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel's location near Tianfu Square is incredibly convenient for getting around. The service was attentive, and the breakfast was both delicious and plentiful. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Not bad at all! We had a butler service, and even though we were busy working late into the night, we asked them to bring two extra bottles of water with morning room service and to dispose of some delivery boxes. The butler showed up within ten minutes – super efficient! The staff also helped us with our luggage. The front desk's service for receiving and sending packages was incredibly convenient. There's also self-service laundry and drying available. Plus, the front desk has three little lovebirds chirping away!

What a wonderful place! Tucked away in the back makes it quiet and serene, while still being at the center of the traditional Wenshu Monastary area. Perfect for all sorts of travelers, i was a solo female and stayed in the dorms with other friendly guests. Lovely inner courtyard with a cafe for relaxing and drinking tea. The staff are all so friendly and ready to give you all the tips on what to do in Chengdu. They speak perfect English as well! There are a lot of regular visitors, since people keep wanting to come back. The rooms are cleaned everyday and beds are made, with fresh towels provided. Everyday felt like I had just checked in, brand new. Breakfast has a range of western (toast, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal) or chinese (rice, wontons, fried pancakes..) and fresh fruit that changes from day to day. All ranges of coffee and tea as well. It filled me up well to start my day walking around the city! Definitely recommend to anyone, and I will be staying here next time I visit! Thank you :)

Meishan mindong Suyuan Hotel

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

Our first stop on our summer trip with the kids, and even though we only stayed one night, we absolutely adored this place! The accommodation was spotless and tidy, with a simple, Chinese-inspired Loft design that's truly perfect for families. My daughter especially loved the cozy and charming little loft space upstairs! The hotel also has a great outdoor patio area, perfect for enjoying a cold beer and a breeze in the evening. The location is fantastic too – right downstairs is a shopping street, and it's just a 10-15 minute walk to Nanqiao Bridge and Yangtianwo Plaza! This was genuinely the most comfortable and heartwarming B&B we stayed in during our whole Sichuan trip!

Traveling for business this time, I was mainly in the east and, on a friend's recommendation, I tried the Hyatt Centric for the first time. First off, the location is excellent; it's just two stops on Line 2 from the East Railway Station directly to the hotel entrance, which is incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel service is fantastic; both the concierge on the first floor and the front desk staff on the seventh floor were warm and polite. The hotel even has a really well-behaved and adorable resident white West Highland Terrier! The hotel itself is very new and has a great artistic vibe. There are charming art pieces in the room that I found very appealing. The facilities are also top-notch. I'll definitely choose this hotel first whenever I'm in Chengdu for work in the future.

This guesthouse truly exceeded our expectations! The room design is very stylish, clean, and tidy, with an absolutely stunning view – we could admire the snow-capped mountains right from our bed, making for a very comfortable stay. The owner's service was incredibly warm and thoughtful; not only did they provide convenient transfers to and from the scenic area, but they also proactively helped us contact and book a vehicle back to Chengdu, which saved us a lot of hassle during our trip. Any needs we had during our stay were promptly addressed, making us feel right at home. Both the environment, facilities, and service were impeccable. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Siguniang Mountain, and we will definitely be back!

My friends and I drove all the way from Inner Mongolia to visit Jiuzhaigou. After a day of exploring, our clothes were covered in dust. Thankfully, the hotel has a self-service laundry room, so we could wash and dry our dirty clothes right away. The hotel isn't far from the scenic area, making it very convenient for getting around. The overall environment is quiet and peaceful, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It's a great place for both seniors and kids to relax. The service was excellent; they even upgraded our rooms for free and made sure we were all together. Plus, the hotel is really close to the scenic area, and they offer a free shuttle service (a buggy) to take us to the entrance. There's also a large parking lot right outside, which is super convenient for those driving.

This location is fantastic! It's less than a kilometer's walk to Kuanzhai Alley, and super close to major attractions like Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Sichuan Museum, Wenshu Monastery, and Jiuyan Bridge. It was great to be able to pop back to the hotel for a nap after a tiring morning of sightseeing and then head out again in the evening. The hotel is very smart and modern; if you have any issues, just call 'Xiao Shi'. They also offer free coffee and afternoon tea. It made for a very enjoyable two-day weekend trip!
