"We came for one night to shop Costco Windsor and then head back to the US. Location was convenient, hotel was quiet, Not many people were checked in the night we were there. Check in was fast and convenient. The only downside was there was no elevator so we had to walk upstairs to our room with all of our luggage. When we got there, the room was adequate and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was pretty basic. We had toast with peanut butter and jelly, always a safe option. The best part of this hotel is that it is located immediately next door to Tim Hortons. Price was good and I totally would stay here again when I need to come back to shop Costco again."

"This is my first time staying here and it may be my last time.
Both the restaurant & maintenance staff were patient, polite, and thoughtful. One of the shuttle drivers was very detail-oriented and made sure to meet guests’ needs, which I greatly appreciate, but another driver was repeatedly late and had an awful, unprofessional attitude.
Upon check-in, a deposit is required and while that per se isn’t a problem, the credit card terminal/machine was very difficult to navigate. It ended up blocking my credit card from being used anywhere which is a nightmare for any traveler especially as a lot of places I go to are cashless venues.
The ‘do not disturb’ door sign keeps falling off the knob/handle every single time I open and close the door, which caused inconvenience repeatedly (not a one-off issue).
I wish they would modernize the air conditioning system. The one in my room was not working at first, no heating in winter is intolerable, I had to get the thermostat replaced which again caused more inconvenience for me.
Overall room cleanliness was fine except a few colored specks on one of the bath towels.
The room curtains as well as the shower temperature were confusing to adjust.
The HVAC noises were quite disruptive too.
I just feel like there were so many problems that had to be solved and friction to endure before I could even find any enjoyment in my stay. I know this isn’t a 5-star luxury hotel but even with that in mind, it sure did find lots of ways to disappoint me."

"Pretty good! We were given a room on the 33rd floor with an amazing view. The view alone is definitely worth the price!
Just a heads-up, the bottled water in the room is only free for members; otherwise, it's 3 CAD per bottle. There's a convenience store downstairs, but it's quite expensive. I recommend bringing a few bottles of water with you before checking in. Save where you can, spend where you should!"

"Loved the service. The front desk team are super friendly and helpful. Here are the reasons why I'd rate 4/5: room cleanliness (we noticed stains), the lack of hair conditioner (bottle in the shower was empty), 1 tissue left in the tissue box (with no backup boxes), and we only got 2 sets of towels despite there being 3 people staying the night. Once I asked for the towels, they readily gave me them. It was just disappointing that I had to walk to reception to retrieve them."

"Arrived late at night, check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean, and got everything we needed. Kids love the swimming pool. Breakfast was good, staffs are very nice and helpful. A special thank you to Agnes at the front desk for her exceptional hospitality. We arrived quite late at around 10 PM, and she warmly welcomed us with chocolates upon check-in. She also kindly arranged a late check-out for us, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.
The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and breathtaking views made our stay truly memorable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future."

BL LondonGreat hotel, great location and excellent front of house reception team with a warm welcome. Rooms are large but need a refurbishment as looking a tad worn and tatty. I understand that some refurbishment is in progress to the rooms and restaurant. Beware: our holding deposit had not been returned after we checked out on June. 11, even though there was no spend on the room. Even after 8 days, I cannot get my deposit returned - so recommend you insist on a return on checkout.

My husband and I stayed here from September 9 to 10 last for our 20th wedding anniversary. We had a medical appointment down the road so it was a convenient location. Here are some of our observations where they could do better.
1. l use a cane with my disability, and there was no luggage trolly in the lobby when we arrived. I had to haul two heavy bags on one arm while using my cane with the other hand.
2. I checked to see that there was body wash for our evening and morning showers and the bottle was completely empty. The housekeeping staff hadn't refilled and we had to find someone to put a new bottle into the shower. It's a good thing I checked and didn't get a rude awakening in the morning.
3. The picture in the room looked as though something was thrown at it and went down the glass. There were two streaks and it was very disgusting.
Obviously, the cleaning had not been done properly in the room.
4. Nowhere on the website was there mention of a continental breakfast so we were quite surprised that there wouldn't be your typical eggs, bacon, sausage. Etc. It was very disappointing. We only found out because we got on the elevator, and there was an ad taped to the inside of the elevator. At the time of booking, all it said was free breakfast included.
5. The shower-head sprayed all over the ceiling when it was turned on, so we had to put a face cloth over it to contain the spray
6. The microwave glass tray did not rotate so when you put something in there, it didn't heat it up evenly. It actually burned the item.
7. Bathroom light fixtures were covered with caked on dust. I wrote my name in one of them.
It's Obvious that the housekeeping staff does not pay attention to cleaning - only does minimum.

Jane10219We had a twin room, and it was quite small, but the 1.35m beds were decent. The shower water pressure, however, was absolutely unacceptable – it was so low that a woman washing her hair would easily take 40 minutes to rinse it properly. You can just imagine how weak it was!
The hotel's location is excellent. We didn't use public transport, but there's a station right outside the hotel, which is super convenient. You can walk to all the city's attractions, which was great fun. The only downside is being in the city center; there's constant noise from police sirens, ambulances, or fire trucks.
Initially, the price was 3.5K per night, but then it suddenly dropped to 1.5K. I'm not sure why, but it worked out well for us.

Guest UserThe location is great, right outside there's a bus stop, and the subway isn't too far either. The only thing is there are so many key cards needed to get through all the doors – I even had to take my room card with me to the shower and toilet! Some of the front desk staff were super friendly though; one even helped me carry my suitcase upstairs (this hostel doesn't have an elevator, and there's no laundry room here, but you can pay to do laundry at a place across the street). Overall, I think it's pretty good! There were some homeless people outside, but they seemed harmless.

This was our first time staying at Americana and we are very pleased with the experience. We drove 3 hours from northern Ontario and it was worth it! We went with another family for New Year's Eve and our children had such a wonderful time. We ordered room service, went to the waterpark several times, played in the arcade and our kids had so much fun. We are planning to come back next year!

staff was very helpful and polite
perfect hotel away from tourist crowds
parking is additional 15$ onsite
rooms are clean and good
there is no smoking or bad smell in rooms
rooms with balcony have a view
view shows river amd part of falls

The facilities is old and worn out, i.e flooring, walls and lighting; it needs serious renovation. For the price, it's a ripped off. The location is very convenient, at the same time is noisy.

Pros: a parking lot with sufficient space (no need to book in advance). A shopping mall St Laurent is nearby. The breakfast is ok. There are 2 sockets and 2 USB-A outlet on each side of the bed. The staff are friendly in general.
Cons: A bit far away from the tourist attractions downtown (around 10 minutes drive). The coffee from the in-room coffee machine was so-so. The air-conditioner was quite noisy. The TV in my room couldn't be turned off (It went off automatically after no-signal for a while anyway). There were some paper cups for coffee but no other glass / cups in the whole room even for brushing teeth so I had to use paper cups for brushing teeth (Is it considered environmental friendly?)

FfhassaaFantastic staff and very close to the airport with. Free shuttle to and from. Such a breeze to chekc in after a delayed flight fast queue and upgraded room for free. Breakfast was 6am to 9:30 or 10am on weekends and was fantastic good variety and very good staff especially Sylvia - thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
Rooms are huge all with AC and fans if needed and very well stocked and clean no issues and rebooked to stay again at the end of my trip and wood definitely recommend.

The location was fantastic. The bath quickly warmed up, allowing me to thaw out from the cold. It was easy to get to Table Rock, Rainbow Bridge, and the fireworks display area.
