Exchanging tickets at Shinjuku Station went smoothly, and I also booked daily tickets and seats, including the Fuji return trip. I visited Karuizawa, Mt. Omuro, and Mt. Fuji over three days, saving a lot on train fares. The advantage of having a pass is that you don't have to worry about missing your train; you can just take the next one.★

Reaching the summit, at an altitude of nearly 5,000 meters, one will experience a state of oxygen deprivation both psychologically and physically. The close-up views of Glaciers No. 1, 2, and 3 from the summit are breathtaking. Reflecting on the scene of the Central Committee of the Communist Party traversing the snow-capped mountains, one will feel a deep sense of admiration. At the summit, looking around at the surrounding landscape, one sees a world of ice and snow, a fairyland.★

This pass is worthwhile even for just a day trip to Izu from Tokyo. Better value than the 1-day pass as this allows one to get on the bus from Ito station.
