Reviews: [Official Ticket] JR Tokyo Wide Area Pass 3-Day (Electronic Redemption Voucher)
Guest User2026-07-31
I purchased the JR Tokyo Wide Pass (3-day e-ticket) this time, and the overall experience was excellent. The e-ticket redemption process was simple; I could quickly exchange it at the designated counter upon arrival in Japan, without needing to mail the ticket in advance, which was very convenient. The pass covers a wide area, including popular destinations like Karuizawa, Lake Kawaguchi, Nikko, and Echigo-Yuzawa. A few Shinkansen rides are enough to recoup the cost, making it perfect for short trips to the suburbs. You almost never need to buy additional tickets for JR trains, saving considerable time and making your itinerary more flexible. If you're planning a 2-3 day trip to the suburbs during your Tokyo visit, I highly recommend this pass. It offers great value, is easy to use, and definitely worth considering!

Reviews: Tokyo Atami Sea Fireworks Tour

Fireworks festivals are a unique summer event in Japan, very lively and worth experiencing. Watching from a boat is the best option, allowing you to enjoy the fireworks without the crowds and get the best spot for photos. If you don't take a boat, you'll start scrambling for a spot on the beach before dark, affecting your experience. For those watching from a boat, boarding is usually around 7:30 PM.
Reviews: Izu Tokai Bus Free Ride Pass "Ito & Izu Kogen 2-day Ticket"
Guest User2026-07-21
Ito relies on this pass to go to Omuroyama/zoo/Teddy bear museum/Kinosaki Coast/Komuroyama. Be aware of bus schedules, as some places run every hour. Leave the crowded attractions, especially Mount Omuro, and go a little early to wait for the bus, because there are so many people, there is a chance you can't get on the bus!
Reviews: Hakone Lake Ashi & Atami Fireworks Festival Day Tour from Tokyo | Small Group Max 9 | Hotel Pick-up Option | Hakone Shrine&Floating Torii Gate
Guest User2026-07-27
I thought the rain would be a disappointment, but I encountered Hakone at its most gentle. Lake Ashi in the rain resembled a watercolor painting, its surface shrouded in mist, with pirate ships gliding through it—it felt like something out of a Miyazaki animation. The torii gates over the water appeared even more serene on a rainy day, their vermilion gleaming after being washed clean by the rain, making for photos with an inherent sense of story. The moss and stone steps of Hakone Shrine, moistened by the rain, were exceptionally soothingly green. By evening, the rain had subsided in Atami, the lake a beautiful grey-blue, possessing a unique charm, and the evening fireworks bathed the entire area in romance. A special thank you to our driver, Shao. We had missed the tram exit, but instead of making us return to the designated spot, he picked us up at the new exit and even brought umbrellas, making driving in the rain much safer. Visiting Hakone on a rainy day is definitely an underrated romantic experience.
