Lijiang is so beautiful in winter!

Lijiang is so beautiful in winter!

Many people think Lijiang is most beautiful in July and August, but those who visit Lijiang often know that winter is the most beautiful and cost-effective time to visit. In winter, the rainy season is over and the sky is clear. There is a special fashion called "sunbathing" in Lijiang. Sit on an old rattan chair in the courtyard of a guesthouse, with a cup of tea and a book, and do nothing but enjoy the warmth and leisure. In winter, you can see the golden sunlight on the mountains almost every day, like a gift for us every morning. It is said that those who see the golden sunlight on the mountains will be lucky for a whole year, so don't miss it. Winter is the best season to go birdwatching at Lashi Lake. Thousands of migratory birds fly from the north to bask in the sun on the lake during the day. Even though it is cold at night, they are reluctant to migrate south. Perhaps Lijiang is just as attractive to them. Only after seeing the sunrise at Lugu Lake will you know what a picturesque place is. In the morning, the mist covers the entire lake, and fishing boats move slowly on the lake. Imagine how beautiful it is. In winter, airfares and hotel prices are the lowest of the year. You can stay for a week in Lijiang during the peak season, but you can stay for half a month in winter. There are also fewer tourists, so you don't have to rush. It is really cost-effective.

5D4N Lijiang to Daocheng Yading Tour DAY 5

5D4N Lijiang to Daocheng Yading Tour DAY 5

DAY 5: Visit Lugu Lake attractions—Lijiang Old Town The attractions at Lugu Lake are all pretty good, and you can basically finish taking photos in about 20 minutes. 1⃣️ Overlook Lige Peninsula 2⃣️ Lovers' Beach & Walking Marriage Bridge 3⃣️ Lugu Lake cruise, there are fewer water caltrops around National Day 4⃣️ Had lunch at Qiyi Steamed Stone Pot Fish and Chicken, the stone pot fish was pretty good 5⃣️ Drove all the way to Dayan Huaxiang in Lijiang Old Town (end of tour) We took a look at the Eye of Lijiang, then went to Yujian Mabangcai Yunnan Cuisine Naxi Ethnic Cuisine (Huaxiang Branch) for dinner, and went straight to the airport to return home. Overall: For this 5-day tour, apart from the day at Daocheng Yading, the rest of the tour didn't feel very reasonable. We were always rushing or getting scammed. There weren't many attractions, and most of them were just for taking photos. Maybe it would be more reasonable to start from Chengdu.

Please, Lugu Lake! The pitfalls I've encountered, may others avoid them!

Please, Lugu Lake! The pitfalls I've encountered, may others avoid them!

From Dali to Lugu Lake, the journey is long, but the 85 yuan bus fare and the more than four hours of travel time are made worthwhile by the upcoming beautiful scenery. As you approach, the 70 yuan ticket fee is a small tribute to this paradise. 🚌🎫 During the trip, a bag of sunflower seeds, some snacks, and fruits are the best companions to pass the time. You'll find that time flies by as you enjoy the food along the way. 🌻 Upon arriving at Lugu Lake, it's like being in a small town abroad, with its unique architectural style and relaxed pace of life. Especially the misty beauty of the morning, which is refreshing and uplifting. 🏞 The hotel where I stayed has an endless lake view right outside the door, which made me instantly forget about Erhai Lake. The waffles and coffee by the sea during afternoon tea time are a new experience in my life. ☕ The facilities in the room, from the swing chair on the sea-view balcony to the bed on the second floor, to the projector and large bathtub in the living room, every detail shows the hotel's thoughtfulness. 🏠 The sofa by the window on the first floor and the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the corridor are great places for taking photos. And the two cats raised by the hotel add a touch of warmth to the trip. 📷🐱 During the Dragon Boat Festival at Lugu Lake, you can also feel the atmosphere of the traditional festival. The zongzi, rice noodle platter, and small desserts prepared by the hotel, each bite is a tribute to deliciousness. 🥢 When checking out, the free shuttle service provided by the hotel's young man made me deeply appreciate the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of the people of Lugu Lake. The warm-heartedness of the 18 kilometers back and forth for a 9-kilometer distance filled me with gratitude for this trip. 🚗 Lugu Lake Anxia Holiday Hotel, a place that makes me linger and forget to return. If you also plan to come to Lugu Lake, be sure not to miss this place. The address is on Hubin Road, Daluoshui Village, Ninglang Yi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, waiting for you to explore!

Lugu Lake Hotel| How to choose between Qian Ji Shan and Xu Jiu Shan Hai Shi

Lugu Lake Hotel| How to choose between Qian Ji Shan and Xu Jiu Shan Hai Shi

Lugu Lake Hotel| How to choose between Qian Ji Shan and Xu Jiu Shan Hai Shi? I stayed at Lugu Lake for 2 nights, and I was very entangled in choosing a hotel. It was either Qian Ji Shan or Xu Jiu Shan Hai Shi, because both were TOP3. In the end, I saw that the distance was less than 500 meters, so I decided to experience each one night. Here are some references for you based on my personal feelings. 💎Room comparison: The Qian Ji Shan I stayed in this time was the Ji Ze Lake View King Room, the room was 60 square meters, very spacious, on the third floor, the view was completely unobstructed, I liked the windows of this room the most, the lake view was absolutely beautiful. Xu Jiu lived in the Old Man Comes, the bed was facing the window, which was very good, but the room was only 46 square meters, relatively crowded, the floor was on the 2nd floor, the view was slightly obstructed, there was a balcony so there were folding doors instead of direct glass windows. The interior decoration of the room is more tasteful in Xu Jiu, but from the room type, I personally prefer the Ji Ze Lake of Qian Ji Shan. 💎Public area: The public terrace of Qian Ji Shan is larger, and there are relatively more places for shooting. Xu Jiu's terrace is smaller, but I prefer the view from Xu Jiu's terrace, and Xu Jiu's hall is the restaurant, sitting inside and looking out the window is also very comfortable, so I stayed there for 2 more hours after checking out on the last day, although I didn't take many pictures. 💎Food This time I only experienced the breakfast and afternoon tea of the two hotels, and did not dine in the hotel. If the previous two dimensions have their own advantages and disadvantages, Xu Jiu wins my heart in terms of dining, whether it's the breakfast rice noodles with vegetables or the afternoon tea category, they are more thoughtful. 💎Souvenirs I'm not sure if it's the same for everyone. Qian Ji Shan gave dried apples and some rose buckwheat tea, but they were all packed in cowhide bags, which were easy to leak. If there were small bottles, it would be more intimate. Xu Jiu gave a box of Yunnan hand-brewed hanging ear coffee bags, which also looked very good overall,
