Just got back from a week long stay at the hotel and it was great. There were 3 of us, myself my mum and my 15 year old son, so we booked a family room with 2 bedrooms. The room was fine with plenty of space and a decent bathroom with big shower. There was a small fridge in one of the rooms and the only thing we felt it missed was a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. It was my sons birthday while we were there and the staff arranged a cake for us and sang happy birthday to him which was lovely. We stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice of continental, fruit, bread and pastries, cereal and a hot selection with made to order fried eggs and omelettes. Would definitely recommend for families as the pools are ideal for kids and is very family friendly

This hotel is integrated with the casino. On the whole, you can choose to sleep for one night. If you are staying for a few nights, it is still prudent. The rooms and facilities are outdated, the hotel waiters have basically no sense of service, they just park in front of the hotel, the breakfast wife is average, domestic Samsung level, but it is worth mentioning that the three peppers for breakfast are really delicious and sweet! However, it's weird to eat peppers early in the morning! The hotel area is not small, the scenery is soaring

Myself and my mother stayed at the hotel for a week at the beginning of July on a half board basis - having been a visitor to Northern Cyprus for over 35 years (albeit not a hotel resident normally) and having read all the negative reviews, was slightly concerned when I booked. I need not have worried, our room was excellent, spacious and modern, clean and tidy and well maintained. We used the hotel as a base whilst on the island and I would agree that perhaps it would be around a 4 star rather than 5, found all staff to be very attentive and eager to please and very pleasant and helpful. The food was buffet style but all fresh and a huge variety, you would be hard pushed to not find something you liked. We arrived during Byram so the hotel was exceptionally busy as we expected. Great hotel for families with option of a huge swimming pool or two areas on the beach - I would highly recommend and wanted to provide a honest and positive review - if I was travelling for a quiet relaxing time I would choose a smaller and quieter hotel but thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

Stayed here on holiday with my family and had the best time. We were assisted by Selim, Demir, Obe, Eylül who helped us with every need. chef Mesut and Negla from the restaurants could not do enough for us all and the food was greate. 18.08.2023'de eşim ve kızımla birlikte Girne'ye tatile gittik. Daha önceden kalmayı planladığımız otel rezervasyonu ile ilgili sorun çıkınca, 2 günlüğüne geçici olarak kalmak üzere Girne limanında bulunan ”White Pearl” isimli otelde yer bulduk. 1 Geceliği için de 2.100 ₺ para verdim! Ama odası, banyosu her yer pis ve bakımsızdı. Mini dolabında boş kutu kola çöpü vardı. Otel değil, sanki terk edilmiş köhne bir apartman dairesi gibiydi. Mecbur olduğumuzdan 2 gün kalmak durumundaydık. Ancak ilk gece böcek ısırmalarından dolayı ertesi gün kalacak yer aramak üzere oteli terk ettik. 1 gün sonra eşimin tüm vücudunda oluşan böcek ısırığı yaraları 2. Gün 2,5 yaşında ki kızımda ve bende de başladı. Tüm vücudumuz yoğun bir şekilde kaşınıyordu. Bir başka otelde yer bulduk. Eşim 2 gece yoğun kaşıntıdan uyuyamadı. Hafta sonu olduğundan nöbetçi bir eczane buldum, eczacıya yaraları gösterdiğimde bize uyuz olduğumuzu söyleyip uyuz kremi verdi, kremi kullandık ancak ızdırap gibi kaşıntılarımız devam etti. Pazartesi günü Girne'de ki devlet hastanesinin aciline gittik. Doktor uyuz olmadığımızı böcek ısırığı olduğunu söyledi ve üçümüze de alerjik ve rahatlatıcı iğne yaptılar. Ailemle birlikte mutlu bir tatil hayaliyle geldiğimiz Girne'de tatilimiz bu otel yüzünden zehir oldu. Tüm vücudumuz yara bere içinde. Kızımın çektiği ızdırabı asla unutmayacağım. Otelin sahibi olan b*** bey 'in telefonunu buldum ve olayın 2. Günü arayıp vücudumuzdaki yaraların resmini attım ve durumu belirttim. Bana sadece; kusura bakmamamı ama böyle bir şeyin mümkün olmadığını, ilk kez bir şikayet aldıklarını söyledi. Ben kendisine şikayetlerimi belirtmeye devam ettikçe bana ”şikayet edin beyefendi, şikayet edin” diyerek konuyu kapattı. Burada yaşayan tanıdığım bir kişi aracılığı ile tanıştığım bir başka kişiye bu olayları anlattığımda bana; ”bu oteli bildiğini, sorunlu ve bakımsız bir mekan olduğunu benzer şikayetleri daha önce de duyduğunu söyledi.Bu otelde kalıp sağlığınızı riske atacağınıza parktaki bankta yatın daha güvende olursunuz.

Under normal circumstances, we would probably not have stayed at the Dome Hotel, as the reviews that we had seen were not brilliant but, as we were on an escorted tour (Jules Verne's Classic Kyrenia Tour), we did not have much of a choice of accommodation and knew that we would be out on trips most days, which meant that it wouldn’t matter too much if the hotel wasn’t perfect. After having spent a week there, we can say that there are plenty of positive things about this hotel, but we can also see why it might get some poor reviews too. Before our arrival, we were in email contact with the Dome to ask a couple of questions and received prompt and helpful responses. We had advised them that it was our wedding anniversary during our stay and were delighted to find out when we arrived that they had upgraded us from a standard room to a two room junior suite (Room 346). The bedroom on its own was a good size anyway, but having the extra lounge room was very useful as the bedroom storage space was a little restricted. The bathroom was also a good size and had a jacuzzi bath, which was a nice touch, but it was a bit awkward to get in and out of, plus it was difficult to use the shower without getting water everywhere, as the shower screens did not meet in the middle. The bathroom fixtures and fittings were rather tatty and dated, as was the room overall, with dark brown being the main colour present. We really did not like the fact that the room’s doors did not have proper secure locks on them, just a push button on the inside, plus we only had one key, which made things a bit awkward if we were going out separately. We were pleased to have an in-room safe, although it seemed odd that it wasn’t actually attached to anything (so it would have been perfectly possible for someone to steal the entire thing). We didn’t have anything from the mini-bar, but there was at least enough spare room for us to keep our own stuff in there. We really liked having 2 balconies, particularly since we had an unrestricted sea view from both of them. The air conditioning worked well, plus we were able to get a nice breeze through the rooms via the balcony doors. We stayed at the Dome on a half-board basis, which meant that we had breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant each day. The food at both meals was of reasonable quality, but not very exciting or varied over the week. We were very surprised to see that the leftover soup from dinner was offered at breakfast the next morning! The puddings at dinner were very good though and we appreciated being able to order fresh omelettes at breakfast. We also liked the fact that bottled water was included with dinner at no extra cost. As the weather was warm during our stay, we chose to eat on the terrace each morning and night, but our experience was often marred by the other guests chain-smoking their way through each mealtime. It would have been nice if some of the tables could have been reserved for non-smokers, such as the

Pros - Location - Spa - Roof top pool - Food Hotel within easy distance to harbour, bars,shops, and local transport. Rooms spacious and very clean. Cons - busy road opposite two petrol stations and traffic heavy all day. Staff on reception not helpful or accommodating. There is no air conditioning and our room on arrival at midnight was 26.5°. We couldn't believe it and had to insist on two fans that we left on permanently all night and the day when we were in the room. Some of the electric sockets and plugs had loose wiring so we had to keep reporting faults. Our main complaint was the heavy smell of petrol that we assumed came from the petrol station. When we phoned reception to request a move to another room we were told there were no more twin bedded rooms available but for what is classified as a five star hotel, I'm sure they could have accommodated us. The stench was overwhelming. Finally after calling in one of the cleaners she indicated it wasn't the petrol stations but the drain in the shower that she would clean out. That evening on returning to the room, the smell had gone. However next morning it started to seep in again. We called in another cleaner and pointed out the stench and showed her the sockets that didn't work. She said leave it to me and that night everything was fixed but we only had two nights left of our holiday. The cleaner's name was Hava and I would like to commend her to the hotel management. Our conversation was done though my translation app and sign language. In spite of everything we enjoyed our stay as the pros outweighed the cons. Would not stay at this hotel again until it is modernised. The summer months must be unbearable.
