2-Star Hotels in Southern Province, Sri Lanka

The hotel is in a very good location. It takes only ten minutes to walk to the ancient city wall and the beach. The room is large, clean and sanitary, especially the bathroom, which has a bathtub and complete facilities. The room we booked has a large bed and a small bed. The problem with the room is that the air conditioner is facing the large bed, which is very uncomfortable. The small bed is in the attic, so the cold wind can't get through and it's a bit stuffy. The large bed is very high. I have to jump to get in and out of the bed with my height of 172cm. If a child sleeps, there is a hidden danger. The service is very good overall. The problem lies in breakfast. Our group of 6 people had to leave early and had ordered the required varieties in advance the day before, so we arrived at the restaurant on time at 7:30 in the morning to prepare for the meal. The waiter asked enthusiastically whether coffee and tea should be served first, and we agreed. Another group of people arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes later. After waiting for 20 minutes, our meals started to be served one after another, and we were served alternately with the group of people who came later. At 8:10, our meals were not served yet. We said that we were running out of time and hoped that coffee and tea would be served first so that we could drink them and leave. When we had to leave at 8:25, there was only tea, unfortunately, no coffee. Therefore, the breakfast experience diluted the perfect experience before breakfast. I hope the hotel can improve it.

This hotel is conveniently located, practically next to the bus stop in both directions. The ocean is 100 meters away. But this is not a beach for swimming. To get to the sandy beach you need to walk about 500 meters. The room is spacious. However, the furniture is only a bed, a chair and a table. The furniture is durable. The mattress is also good. There is a shower, a sink and a toilet. But there is nothing at all except toilet paper. At night I saw ants and a lizard in the shower room. All the rooms need repair. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Not bad, every staff member of the hotel is great, accidentally broke the plate halfway, cut the foot, the hotel helped me deal with the wound as soon as possible, did not let me compensate the plate, super warm hotel, recommended

A wonderful villa with an excellent host! The rooms are clean, there is a mini kitchen with a refrigerator. There is a large kitchen with all the necessary dishes in the common area. Delicious simple breakfasts (egg with vegetables, toast with oil and jim, fruit, tea with coffee). The host helped rent a bike.

It is a row of private houses, the equipment is a bit old, but the overall environment is good, the boss is very enthusiastic, the food in the store tastes very good, better than the surroundings

A nice place to meet other traveller. Good social activities every day.

Service is very good

Kleines, familiengeführtes Hostel, liegt etwas bergauf des Ortes. Besitzer sind gerne behilflich bei allen Fragen. Zimmer sind einfach, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon mit direktem Blick auf die schönen Palmen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Everything was nice. Welcome hosts. Paradise place with its territory, where you can walk among the jungles.

Planned to be here 2 nights, eventually stayed for 5 nights because everything was perfect , service , location, food. I recommend this hotel for family rest and rest couple . Residence new, fresh repair, convenient location inside , there is a swimming pool, recreation zone, yoga zone, spacious stylish rooms . Successful location, quiet , but at the same time all to cafe /to stops /to the ocean. . We will definitely return again , only warm and positive memories ❤️

Awesome place, the best youth travel I have ever stayed in so far, manages to take care of all places clean and spotless, especially comfortable, can cook, and have a separate bathroom for girls.

I'm genuinely pleased with my choice, as I appreciate the excellent service, convenient location, delicious food, and all the amenities provided.

The room was pretty clean but the floor becomes sandy too fast. There was aircon inside. Bedsheets were clean as well. They also provide a towel. As for bath and toilet it was also pretty clean. There was no hot water and no shampoo/shower gel in bath cabins. But there was toilet paper inside cabins. There was a kettle in each room but there was no any common area to cook or eat something else. As for cold drinking water they don't provide it. Internet connection was pretty stable almost all the time. Located in 10-15 mins walking distance from Marshmallow surf point. The staff was accomodating and helpful.

Location location location! This spot is perfect to soak up everything Mirissa beach has to offer. It’s right by the main beach in the town with options for Snorkling, whale watching, dining, drinking, parrot island & coconut tree hill just minutes away. The room was lovely, spacious & clean. We had a very small problem of monkeys coming onto our balcony during the night & rearranged our chairs & drying clothes for us but the friendly staff took care of everything in the morning. The perfect hotel to enjoy Mirissa.

The location is super convenient, you could just walk to the beach in 1 mins. They clean the room and change the bedsheets for every customers. Hot shower provided. Staffa are very friendly.
