The Hequma scene area is located in Maqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is an ancient Tibetan language called "Mamai Yulong Songduo" which means "open river valley area after the intersection of the Yellow River and Heihe River". It is the main activity place of the Tibetan hero King Gesar's boyhood and the departure point of the unified mountain country. It was named after the establishment of the state-owned Hequ Racecourse in 1958. The scenic spot has convenient transportation, only 12 kilometers away from Maqu County, and is the closest wetland grassland to the city. The main natural landscape is the Gerqin Wetland Grassland and Gerqin Lake. It is equipped with Shenyu Square, Highland Equestrian Activity Base, Pedestrian Street, Tibetan Yard, Water-friendly Wetland Sightseeing Platform, Starry Sky Tent Hotel, RV Tent Camp, Hot Air Balloon Sightseeing Base, Maju high-end hotel and other supporting facilities.
