We stopped for the night in Leon on our way back to Portugal. We didn&#39;t have any  particular expectations for our meal, just something decent. But what a surprise at Mama Tere&#39;s! The setting, the staff, the food, and the wine were all well beyond our expectations: perfect! And all at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful view of cathedral. Excellent service! Delicious wine, portions are huge and there was something on the menu for everyone- even our picky children.

The restaurant is located in the suburbs of the city the surrounding area is not the most pleasant. The building and the humilde indoor space. Surprises for the excellent quality of the meals and sympathy. Very reasonable price
