Roig Rubi means &quot;ruby red&quot; in Catalan. It is hidden in a small alley called seneca, with antique furniture stores and designer shops on both sides. The restaurant is elegantly decorated, but the main focus is on extended mother&#39;s dishes. The backyard with its own courtyard garden brings vitality to the entire restaurant. One of the signature dishes that is praised is sea cucumber and artichoke risotto.

This is the Michelin one-star restaurant of the culinary school where I study. I originally came here with my classmates to visit the kitchen, but I didn&#39;t bring my chef uniform. Fortunately, we were quick-witted and decided to make the best of it. We turned into diners! On a Friday night, we were given a very good seat without a reservation. It seems that business is not good! My classmates and I chose the most classic 68 euro menu. We have learned some of the dishes in class, so there is nothing new about the whole set. If you are curious about classic Catalan cuisine, you might as well give it a try!

As the second most anticipated &quot;restaurant&quot; on my list, it can be said to be a bar. Even online reservations here have a special cocktail menu. As a person who loves wine, I was completely satisfied and fell asleep at home. It can be included as part of the Barcelona travel plan

What a atmosphere! But in the end the food and the wine pairing were the stars of the show...we enjoyed everything included the great choices and explanations of the sommelier.

Located on the ground floor of the five-star Ohla Eixample, the restaurant is the second star-winning restaurant of Catalan chef Fran L&eacute;pez. It has an elegant environment and good service. It specializes in dishes from the chef&rsquo;s hometown, Terres de l&rsquo;Ebre. Eel, oysters, duck and rice are all local specialties and can be your first choice when ordering. The 105-euro Men&rsquo;s Homenaje is the best interpretation of them. If you have a good appetite, you might as well give it a try!

We had the seasonal lunch set which was a good deal for a 1 star Michelin restaurant. Portions were small but there were quite many courses and we were full n satisfied after.

This is our fourth time coming to this restaurant every time we visit Barcelona. It never disappoints. The staff is friendly and the chefs are fantastic. We usually get the prefix menu as it offers the most for your money. Might come here one last time before leaving for the states.
