The boundary monument of Daqing Guo 5 was established in February 16, 1890, by Li Shouqi, Zhizhou, Qinzhou. On June 9, 1885, the Qing government and France signed the Sino-French Treaty of Vietnam in Tianjin, recognizing the French occupation of Vietnam, and erected this monument in this context.
