Guest User:“My husband booked a two night stay at Painter's lodge for my birthday. Apparently the lodge is under new management and just opened 2 days before our stay. This lodge must have been quite the hotel in its day. It needs a lot of work and with love and care I think it will reach its original beauty.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar were not up and running but we were offered a continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, granola bars and juice.
The location was perfect and the decor was lovely. It felt like time had been turned back to a wonderful era. Lots of history displayed on the walls.
We had a wonderful stay.”

Amazing view on the golf court, a big room and bathroom and everything was well decorated, very modern. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, do not worry, it is very well soundproofed. Anyway, everything was perfect so 10/10, will recommend!”
