Wonderful collection. An amazing place like from another world. We took a taxi from Raffles City for 112 yuan one way, the other way was much more expensive and we went from the museum to the nearest metro station line 5 for 50 yuan. I recommend metro line no. 5 and then a taxi, very easy communication and a lot of taxis at the metro station. The collection itself is beautiful and strange. it resembles a Chinese version of the Mares museum in Barcelona, only much, much larger and focused mainly on large wood carved items: traditional beds, doors, wall panels, altars. A huge amount of objects collected by one man. it's a pity that there is no visible state funding or any account to which you can transfer a donation. The whole thing is located on the premises of an old factory, in several huge halls. Incredible impression. At first when we got out of the taxi we thought we had the wrong address because the way to the entrance and the entrance itself looks very unofficial, like a typical road in the countryside. One of the most interesting museums I have seen in the world and in China. It should be more advertised. On trip app the opening hours are different from those on their official website, it seems that it is open until 5 p.m. We left after 4 p.m. We paid for the tickets on the spot with Allipay.It can take few hours to see all. A lot of descriptions only Chinese.



It was sunny when I went, and there were not many cool people. I still encountered a tightrope walk. It still felt dangerous on the edge of the cliff, but the food was not very delicious. It is recommended to bring it yourself.



I went to see the pandas. I entered the park an hour and a half before closing time and stayed in the panda area. The pandas here are so cute and lively. There are so many people looking at you. I was standing in a circle. Fortunately, there are so many pandas here that they dispersed the flow of people, otherwise more people would come.



Zhongshan Ancient Town

It is about 2 hours' drive from the city. The buildings in the ancient town are basically wooden structures. A fire a few years ago burned down half of the street, and it is now under repair and reconstruction. The ancient town is not big.
