Tieshan Park (Southeast Gate)

Tieshan Park was built in 1981 and officially put into use in 1985. It covers an area of more than 580 acres and is the largest park in Zoucheng City. The characteristic of the park is that it is built around the mountain, the mountain is a garden, the garden is a mountain, and the building in the middle of the park is the Xiulingyuan. There are clear springs and flowing water in the courtyard, lotus flowers bloom on the water surface, and the Soviet-style corridor in the courtyard is tortuous and well-proportioned. Tieshan Zhiyang is covered with a huge stone bang, which is a national cultural relic protection unit - Tieshan Cliff Stone Carving. As famous as Mount Tai Jingshiyu, it attracts domestic and foreign tourists. The park has successively opened up scenic spots such as amusement parks, zoos, green peach gardens, rose gardens, peony gardens, and cherry gardens. Unique style, in recent years, the park has become a good place for citizens to relax, entertain and exercise. Zoucheng's Tieshan, Gangshan, Geshan, Jianshan and Yishan cliff carvings (Zoucheng carved scriptures for short) are Buddhist scriptures and inscriptions written on granite stone walls by famous monk calligraphers in the Northern Qi and Northern Zhou Dynasties. Its calligraphy art is alternately written and regular, both square and round, simple and powerful, and was praised by ancient calligraphers as "the originator of big characters and the sect of list books". The Four Mountains carved scriptures are of great value for exploring the evolution of Chinese characters and calligraphy during the Northern Dynasties, and they are also rare materials for the study of Chinese religious culture. For thousands of years, Zoucheng carved scriptures have aroused the love and respect of many calligraphers, and many classics on epigraphy and calligraphy theory have been recorded successively. In recent years, international academic seminars have been held in Zoucheng successively, and the Complete Works of the Northern Dynasties Cliff Carved Sutras have been published. Every year, a large number of Chinese and foreign calligraphers come to Zoucheng to inspect and observe the Northern Dynasties Carved Sutras.
