Kowloon Bay

Jiulong Bay is located in the northwest of Zhuozi County, Ulanqab City, within Xiaying Town and Hongru Township, only 6 kilometers south of Beijing-Baotou Railway, 30 kilometers west of Hohhot, and 110 kilometers east of Jining City. Jiulong Bay is winding and got its name because of its natural shape that looks like nine dragons lying across the Daqing Mountains.

Jiulong Bay is 15 kilometers long and belongs to the Daqingshan area. It is famous for its mountains, streams, waterfalls and springs. The cliffs are steep, the birch forests are lush, and the clear springs flow all year round. There are abundant water and grass here, and many wild animals and plants live here.

Jiulongwan Tourist Area consists of Wufangzhaiding, Qingyangquan Mountain, Shenshuiliang, Wutahai, Zhaomiao Bay, natural grassland and artificial deer farm. The scenic spots include Longquantan, Yushushi, Qingyangquan Mountain, Mizhi Cave, Zhaomiao, etc. On Shenshuiliang, one of the five beams of Daqing Mountain, there is a Shenshui warm spring located between birch and pine forests. Every year on the 13th day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar, herdsmen come here to fetch water and offer sacrifices to Aobao. In recent years, with the continuous development of tourism, Jiulongwan has added yurts, swimming pools, restaurants, guest rooms, shops and other service facilities.
