马家大院建于民国年间，现存三进四合院，南北总长70.5米，东西总宽13.65米，三进四合院建筑形式大体相同，均为灰瓦硬山顶，正房面阔三间，两厢各三间，进深二间，保存基本完好。1982年被公布为正定县重点文物保护单位。现前二进院落为县图书馆占用、后院为公产房。
