Emperor Guan Temple, Fucheng

Fucheng Guandi Temple, located in Fucheng Village, Jincun Town, Zezhou County, sits north and south, divided into front yard, middle courtyard, lower courtyard, upper courtyard four into courtyard. The two areas of Guandi Temple and Sanyi Temple are the essence of stone carving art gathering areas, and are also the most culturally valuable places in the temple. Throughout the stone carving art here, the story of Confucianism, release and teaching is vividly told, as if through historical time and space, into the corridor of Chinese traditional culture. The wood carvings in the temple of the Emperor Guandi of the Fucheng are also unique. From the entrance to the mountain gate, you can see wood carving flowers everywhere. All kinds of exquisite wood carvings are distributed in various buildings. There are Panlong Affiliated Feng carvings and Peony Lotus Patterns. The wood carvings are beautifully painted, the beams are painted, and the meaning is auspicious. It is a rare ancient wood carving art. The four dragons on the front porch of the Guandi Palace are very powerful. The pillars are carved with powerful stone lions, and the pillars are erected with four stone pillars. Each stone pillar is wrapped around two dragons, this carving technique commonly known as "dragon through flower columns". The stone carving is fine, the dragon's strong and powerful characterization is lifelike. On the beams of Guandi Palace, on the door, on the corridor, on the brick wall, there are stone carving dragons, wood carving dragons, brick carving dragons, glazed dragons, dozens of dragons, large and small, attached to the pillars, the whole hall has become a dragon world, showing the Chinese dragon culture incisively. The four pillars of the characters arranged on the front porch of Sanyi Hall are carved with storytelling. From the east to the west: the first pillar is carved with the familiar scene fragment of "Guo Ziyi Zi Baishou": the pillars "seven sons and gossips, all show noble court". Guo Ziyi sat in the hall, happy in color, enjoying the children's filial piety heart. Around it, there are officials, son-in-law, soldiers, family Ding, children, musicians and other characters, with different postures and lifelike. The second stone pillar is more abundant, from the bottom to the top are distributed everywhere, the main story is the story of Wagangzhai, the characters standing in the city wall have the main process of Wagangzhai with crescent-plate axes biting gold, the Qin Qiong, who is used to killer, Luo Cheng with a plum flower gun. The third pillar is carved by Jiang Taigong, who is leisurely fishing, who is riding the wind and fire wheel, and the thunder and earthquake son who is spreading his wings and swimming the earth. On the fourth pillar, the story of Zhang Gongyi IX, a centenarian in Shouzhang County, Shandong, during the Shengtang Dynasty is carved.

On the way to Lingchuan County in Jincheng, passing a Guandi Temple was very interesting and pleasantly surprised. It is the first time I saw such a large Guandi Temple, probably because Shanxi is the hometown of Master Guan. Street shooting, early birds have insects to eat [laughing]
