A story of true love.
A story of true love. Well, dog love. Shiro was a male dog living on Aka with a fisherman. Actually he was born on Zamami Island and had a friend there as puppies. A female dog friend called Marylyn. ...
It gets funnier when you ask about the story to the locals.....ok then itis a love story with the other dog from Zamami island and nothing to do with the dog statue outside Shibuya station in Tokyo. ...
Take two boats from Tokashiki Island and tour to Aka Island. 25 people + One person packed a microbus and went sightseeing on the island. Immediately after departure, I went here. It is a statue of a dog called Shiro. 3 ㎞ I met Marilyn, who lived a distance, and swam across the sea. It's a lovely business.
It is a statue of a dog who became a model of the Japanese movie "I want to meet Marilyn" released in 1988. It reminds me of the time when the bubble economy was gorgeous. GO to bubble! !!

It's cute.
It is just off the ferry terminal on Aka Island. Aka Bridge hangs over Shiro's head. Marilyn is cute, but Shiro is also cute.
