Confucian Temple

The Confucian Temple is a wooden building in the Ming Dynasty. It was built in the sixth year of Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty (1455). The existing main building, Dacheng Hall, faces south, with three rooms wide and four deep, with an area of 307 square meters. The Dacheng Hall is a civil structure with double eaves and a hilltop, with simple beams, and the wooden ornaments between the double eaves are Ruyi bucket arches and elephant trunks. The bays in the Ming Dynasty have a span of 8 meters and are connected by tenon and mortise. There are a variety of stone pillar bases in the hall, such as drum mirror type, shoe basin type, etc., which are carved with lotus pattern, dragon pattern and wishful cloud pattern. There is a platform in front of the hall, and between the double steps is a large stone dragon with vivid shape and distinct scales and claws.
