Nice lookout
The small carpark is three quarters up the hill with a short walk to a rocky cave that overlooks Sonai village. When the wind isn't strong it's worth several minutes of quiet contemplation.
A wonderful place where you can learn about the topography and history of Yonaguni Island, overlooking Kube Ryo, near half of the island, and the area of Souchi
I stopped by for sightseeing, but the big rocks are exposed, and from this observatory, you can see the cityscape of Sono, and you can see a very beautiful view. I heard that the most lively village on Yonaguni Island is Sono, but it is also a place where you can see everything below.
When I headed for Sono Village, I couldn't help but notice the large rock-like mountain-like topography. There was no transportation and it was not possible to go directly, but it seemed that it was well understood that it was an island with steep topography.
The story of a woman, a dog, and a man was written, but I don't remember the contents well. There are well-maintained stone steps, but they are very narrow. There are very few tourists and you can't come without a car. There is spring water on the way, but don't drink it.
