A little-known spot I visited to play in the river at the end of summer every year. I liked it because there were few people and I could relax, but it was really crowded at the peak of summer. The time and time are important because there are few parking lots and there are few spaces to put tents.
About 15 minutes walk from Yokose Station on the Seibu Chichibu Line. I stopped by on the way back from Terasaka Rice Terraces. A lot of small fish in the transparent river! I want to chase small fish instead of childhood

It is a good place for infants to play in the river around Chichibu. The main stream of Arakawa flows fast and the water depth is deep, so I'm a little worried except for the place that was maintained as a campsite, but the water depth is shallow and even infants can follow small fish with peace of mind. It seems to be popular with local elementary school students. Since it is maintained as a park, there is a free parking lot (about 30 cars), water supply, toilets, and eastern houses.
