The iron tower is located in Shuanglin Temple at the foot of Yunhuang Mountain in Tashan, hence the name Shuanglin Tower. It is the earliest existing iron tower in my country. Shuanglin Iron was cast in Shuanglin Temple at the foot of Yunhuang Mountain by Zhu Hongji in the second year of Zhou Guangshun after the Five Dynasties (952). There are only 2 remaining floors, 2.15 meters high, surrounded by eight cast iron fences, and the tower body is cast with patterns such as manned houses, Buddhist homes, flowers, and water waves. The image is realistic and lifelike. Except for local rust, the exterior is still black and shiny. There are three eaves and two floors remaining, with a height of about 2.20 meters. There is a gate on four sides on the first floor, 9 Buddha statues are cast on each of the other four sides, and 12 Buddha statues are cast on each side on the second floor. The pillars on each layer are decorated with discs, and there are hook bars cast on the base, which are neatly made. The existing Goulan objects from the Five Dynasties period are rare and very precious. The eaves of the pagoda are stretched and gentle, with a single arch and double arches under the eaves, and there are 32 Buddha statues on the arch pad. On the Xumi seat are cast figures, auspicious animals, flowers, pavilions and peaks and waves that symbolize nine mountains and eight seas. Shuanglin Iron Tower is an iron tower in Zhejiang Province, with a high casting technology.
