Desheng Rock

Deshengyan is about 13 kilometers north of the city. It is also called thick rock because of the densely stacked mountains. In the fourth year of Tang Wude (621), Yiwu was called Chouzhou, and it was named after this rock. Throughout the ages, it has been a good place for people to climb the Range Rover. Deshengyan is 381.7 meters above sea level. Compared with those famous mountains and mountains, it is really insignificant. However, when climbing along the winding stone-level mountain road, you feel its steepness. When a scholar was walking around with a cane, he recited the verse of "How heavy is the cane to climb the sky, and the clouds and stones hang in the air". There are many strange rock caves in Deshengyan Scenic Area. On a mountaintop behind the monastery, there is a huge stone tortoise. There are also landscapes such as Jiulong Zhuozhuyan, Shangyan Cave, Hongyan Cave, Guanshan and so on. There is a temple on Desheng Rock. Formerly known as Helingxing Temple. Founded in the early Yuan Dynasty, it was built to commemorate Hu Ze, the minister of military affairs of the Song Dynasty. According to legend, as early as the Yuan Dynasty, this place was admired by the Yi people. Literati and scholars came in droves, leaving behind many poems to appreciate the wind and moon.
