During the Southern Song Dynasty, Hongcun Wang's 66th ancestors - Ji Gong held the ancestral statue, Huai family tree, wife and children, in the Yang of Leigang, purchased several mu of land, after 20 years of hard construction, building four buildings: Yixuan, three friends, Hemuxuan, Dayatang. Three three-room house, one four-family house, a total of 13, commonly known as 13 floors, forming Taiyi elephant, named the village, also known as Hongcun, set the base site of Hongcun. The years are ruthless, the 13th floor disappeared in the historical scour, only the "13th floor" of the 13th building today. Only one big house remains.
