Shangde Hall

Shangdetang is an ancient residence in Xidi, built in the Ming Dynasty during the apocalypse, the gate is built with the whole piece of Jixian blue stone into a eight-zimen building. In the middle of the room, there is a round hole passage connected to the outside canal. In the hot summer, just lift the lid above, and there will be a steady stream of cool air entering the house, which will reduce the indoor temperature. It should be the only ancient house in Xidi Ancient Village with natural air conditioning. The wisdom of the ancients is seen.

Shangdetang is an ancient residence in Xidi, built during the apocalypse of the Ming Dynasty, covering an area of 162 square meters. For five second floors, it was converted to rest. The gate here is built with a whole piece of Jixian bluestone into a Bazimen building. It is quiet and dignified and has an extraordinary momentum.

Shangdetang is an attraction in Xidi. It is also a restaurant. You can eat classic Anhui cuisine in it. We ordered stinky salmon, local chicken soup, and tofu. They are all must-order dishes for guests who come to Anhui.

尚德堂——位于西递村前边溪上游，是目前西递古村落里尚存的最古老的明代民居建筑，距今大约有400年的历史。来西递主要就是看这些明清老建筑，这里的老建筑讲究雕工，徽派三雕讲的就是，砖雕、石雕、木雕，留意很多地方会留有这些印记。

西递是皖南古村落，典型的徽派建筑风格，白墙，黑瓦，马头墙，与江南水乡的小桥流水人家风格各异。尚德堂是西递一个比较典型的民居，木雕、石雕、砖雕非常精美。敬爱堂现为“西递民俗展览馆”。来西递的游客都要来看一看。
