Sidu Chishui Battle Former Site Qinggangpo Zhandou Relic Site

[Qinggangpo Battle Site] It is located on a hillside about 5-6 kilometers east of Tucheng, Zunyi District, Guizhou Province. In the early morning of January 28, 1935, the Central Red Army on the way to the Long March fought fiercely with the catching Sichuan Army. Later, the development trend of the war situation was increasingly unfavorable to the Red Army. In the afternoon, Mao, Zhu, and Zhou judged the situation, decisively ordered the Red Army to withdraw from the battle, quickly crossed the Chishui River, temporarily threw off the enemy pursuit, avoiding the Red Army's extremely dangerous situation. After this, the Red Army repeatedly crossed Chishui, turned passive into active, and finally jumped out of the enemy's encirclement and opened the curtain.

The green hills on all sides buried the loyal bones of the martyrs. The tragic battle that year was still not dare to face it. It should have been a beautiful ambush, but because of the wrong information, thousands of Red Army soldiers died here.
