📌Little Tips: 1. In the succulent area of Wanshi Botanical Garden, don't venture too deep, as there are a lot of mosquitoes, and mosquito repellent is ineffective. Venturing in can result in being bitten all over the legs.
2. It is recommended for girls to prepare a set of white dresses or fresh clothes and accessories. Accessories can be used for posing, and white dresses or fresh clothes look super good in photos taken in the botanical garden.
3.〈Very Important Tip〉It is advised to enter from the west gate of the botanical garden. After entering the west gate, turn right. If you go left, there will be many uphill paths. (Those who are not physically strong should definitely not go left, as it will be very tiring.)
💰Ticket Price: Full ticket 30 yuan, half ticket 15 yuan (sometimes there are promotions on Ctrip where full tickets are only 20 yuan, half tickets 5 yuan).
🕙Opening Hours: 06:00~18:00
Surroundings: Behind the botanical garden are the Wulao Peaks, Nanputuo Temple, and Xiamen University, close to the Zhongshan Road shopping district, about 1 kilometer from Zhongshan Road, about 2 kilometers from the ferry terminal, and about 3 kilometers from Xiamen Railway Station.

Xiamen Yuanlin Botanical Garden, commonly known as "Wanlin Botanical Garden", was built in 1960, covering an area of 4.93 square kilometers, located in Wanshi Mountain, Xiamen Island, backed by Wufeng Mountain, Nanputuo Temple, Xiamen University, integrating plant landscape, humanistic landscape and natural sciences.
1) It is recommended to enter and exit the south gate. After entering the south gate, you can take the elevator 6 times to the height of the elevator overlooking Xiamen Island. If the weather is good, the scenery is good. It is rare to be tired and you can overlook the scenery. 2) The elevator sits directly to buy a ticket for the sightseeing car, only 10 yuan/person. The elderly are still half price, very conscience fare. The car is basically a bus, you can take it all the way from the south gate to the west gate, no effort. It may take some time to wait for the bus to get on the bus 3) There are several stations along the way of the sightseeing bus, and you can choose to get off according to your point of interest. Generally succulents and tropical rainforests are must go, and 2 attractions are very close. It is recommended to get off at the succulents area first. Take a photo and visit the downhill and walk 200 meters to the tropical rainforest area. After visiting the tropical rainforest area, go to the queue and get on the bus to the west gate. Because every time you get on the bus, you have to queue up, so you can reduce the waiting time in line 4. It is best to film in the succulents area, and you can also consider about travel shooting; there is a designated spray time in the tropical rain forest area, and it is 2 to 4 pm. There will be a spray effect that will be more fairy 5) You can do the bell and drum ropeway when you come out of the west gate. But the weather was average that day, and the view on the ropeway was average. I didn’t buy a ropeway ticket. 6) It is also very close to Xiamen University. It needs to be reserved 3 days in advance. I can’t make an appointment late. Everyone still makes a good guide in advance. I want to go to the attractions in advance.
