Homecoming Garden

|Return Park^ is the entire park built in 1983 by the Xiamen People's Government of Fujian Province to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Mr. Chen Jiajun's founding of Jimei School covering an area of about 10,000 square meters. The park is located in front of the return hall. The two are connected. The center of the park is a bronze statue of Mr. Chen Jiajun. Like a white granite wall behind a screen engraved with eight golden characters "Overseas Chinese flag, national glory" This is Chairman Mao Zedong's high evaluation of Mr. Chen Jiajun's life These eight characters are the books of the famous calligrapher Luo Dan. The bronze statue is created by the famous sculptor Professor Pan He. The whole return garden is elegant, the trees are green, and the flowers are competing. It is one of the important attractions that can't be missed in Jimei Village.

When we came to Jimei, Xiamen, we suggested to walk around this earliest university town in China. After walking through Jimei's schools, we came to Mr. Chen Jiajun's former residence. The former residence is now a three-story exhibition hall. Here, through pictures and some physical displays, Mr. Chen Jiajun, the leader of overseas Chinese, introduced his life. After visiting the former residence, he will see Chen Jiajun Chenglie Hall. The old gentleman will have a deeper understanding. The former residence is also a representative building with southern Fujian characteristics. Mr. Chen Jiajun's bronze statue stands in front of the return hall. The second floor meeting room, dining room, work room, bedroom, etc. are furnished as Mr. Chen was in his life.

Established in 1983, the park was established to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Chen Jiajun's founding of Jimei School. The main entrance is the eight words of Chairman Mao's overseas Chinese flag and national glory engraved behind his statue. It is a high evaluation of the elderly. There are pictures introducing his personal history on both sides, which occupy a small area. But it is worth seeing, behind is his former residence.

The Return Hall has some history, and the Return Park was built to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Mr. Jiajun's Jimei School. All the memorial significance of this garden is added later, so there is no deep comment, the garden scenery is good, especially the flowers on the west side, the trim shape is in line with the return hall, very interesting small garden.

The Return Hall and the Return Garden are opposite Mr. Chen Jiajun's former residence, but because the entrance and exit are different, they have to walk through an alley. The Return Garden is surrounded by tall coconut trees, like a garden, with small bridges, streams, green grass, full of vitality.
