🤔 There are other treasure cities, Liu Yifei and Eddie Peng come and talk about it!
I went to this island for a day trip. I love the beautiful buildings and the picturesque scenery. Reasons to Recommend: - this is a lovely island and everywhere is walkable. Vehicles are not allowed to enter the island.- this is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is only 20 minutes ferry ride from Xiamen main city. Just spend your day wandering around the island. You can also book a guided tour with affordable price under trip.com.
Gulangyu, Gulang or Kulangsu is a pedestrian-only island off the coast of Xiamen, Fujian Province in southeastern China. A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, the island is about 2 km2 (0.77 sq mi) in area, and is reached by an 8-minute ferry ride from downtown Xiamen. Although only about 20,000 people live on the island, Gulangyu is a major domestic tourist destination, attracting more than 10 million visitors per year
Day Trip to Gulangyu 鼓浪嶼The island is on everyone’s must-visit list when they visit Xiamen, but I was only half hearted when my husband told me it might be hot. Then my friends told me there is an interesting piano museum on the island that we must go, still it didn’t convince me cos I was not so studious😂😂We did go eventually and I can’t say i enjoyed it very much, or that I would regret if I didn’t go.😆It was really really hot, and there is no cars on the island which means lots and lots of walking (clocked 20k steps).
Inspired by my friend's apple adventure.Seeing makopa (java apple) in an alley at Gulangyu island brought back my childhood memories.
Visiting Gulangyu Island was a peaceful escape, with charming car-free streets, beautiful gardens, and delicious seafood, all set against stunning views and a serene atmosphere.
