Zhongshan Warship Museum

The ship was spectacular and more than 300 items were rare in other museums. It was a special trip, the weather was hot, but I still felt very happy. This is the fourth destination of the day. Traveling by car alone

A very famous warship, because Sun Yat-sen is famous, many major historical events are related to him. But the size can only be described as speechless. The sea boat I have been on. Even the cruise ship feels bigger than her.

This is a gunship ordered by the late Qing government to Japan, originally called the "Yongfeng ship", in 1925 to commemorate the just died Mr. Sun Yat-sen changed the name to Zhongshan ship. Although the ship is not large, it participated in major historical events in the early Republic of China, so it is called the Ming ship.

Today our school visited the Wuhan Zhongshan Ship Museum and learned a lot about history and saw all kinds of valuable relics, the most shocking of which was that there was a real Zhongshan ship in the museum! Although the ship was restored after being salvaged from the sea, it was enough to amaze me. I also enjoyed the beautiful natural environment and the martyr's monument around the museum, and I learned about history while enjoying the trip, which I think made this visit to Zhongshan Museum very meaningful.

Zhongshan warship museum in the middle of the Hannan district is a place where one of the most interesting ships in the whole of China is preserved. On Wednesday our school went to the museum and although lots of other students thought it wasn’t interesting, I was super satisfied with the experience I got. Especially because of the huge ship that is on display. It gave us an idea of what a ship would look like in the past and made it seem interesting. I was also happy with my experience because of the information that I learned. I learned what it was called in the past, the role it played, the famous people that had travelled on it and the things that it has onboard. But although I was happy there was one part that I did not like. On the first floor there are lots of information that could be learned but because of the Chinese I wasn’t able to understand and accumulate more information, which seemed to me like it bore very interesting information such as slavery and the colonisation of China, the different treaties that China had to sign, etc. Overall, I think that is definitely a place worth visiting.

Yesterday we went to the Zhongshan Warship museum. The first thing we saw was the huge warship in the centre of the museum. The ship was made it japan. It arrived in china in 1912, in 1936, it sunk in the battle with japan on the Yangtze river. then, in 1996, they restored it after 59 years and half-rebuilt it. It was very big and cool. The ship had many broken spots, like holes on the deck and on the side. There were many flags hung on the top of the ship. The museum had 3 floors. there were many displays of old weapons, like guns and daggers. There were also bombs and bullets, even spoons, forks, and bowls. We also saw many statues and portraits of significant people during the war. We also ended up finding a photo that had out teacher Mr. Adam's long lost twin in it. If you are thirsty, there are vending machines to buy drinks, however you cant eat in the museum. Overall, it was pretty boring, but maybe thats because I'm not really a museum person. It was a nice experience though, would totally recommend.

I think this museum is very cool because it talks about the history about the ship and how it sank. They also showed the steps of how they got the boat on land from the waters, and how it got recovered.The coolest part is the weapons, people found varieties of weapons from the boat like shotguns, swords canons and even snipers.
