ive just finished the nc500 and im going back and reviewing all of my stops from along the way!!! made my way here before heading off from wick, i liked the views but wasnt really blown away!!!!!

Looking at Scottish history is fantastic and this is well worth a visit and there is information on a board telling about the castle in its day the scenery is breathtaking

well worth visit if in the area

Bit of a pain to get too, check google maps before you set off, but it is well worth the effort. Try to arrange walking back as the sun sets (yes Scotland does get some sun).

A great castle ruin

After a short walk from the car park, the castle was great! The views from the castle are amazing nd there are a couple of bays with stacks around the castle grounds. The castle itself is interesting....
