Old St Paul's

The old St Paul's Church is a magnificent Gothic cathedral, most of the locals here are most famous for the painted glass of this church, the church is quite intact, I didn't expect the black-looking windows outside to look out from the inside but you can see the colorful sunshine!

For more than a century and a half, the old St Paul's Church said it was not old. But for the young country of New Zealand, the church is long enough. The structure of pure wood, Gothic style.

The Old St Paul's Church is one of New Zealand's most important historical heritage. It is a sacred building, first laid in 1866, imitating the early Goethe-style buildings of England, all built using New Zealand wood. It is an old church, stained glass characters are parishioners and biblical stories. Especially curious is that there are several flags hanging in the church, there are flags of the Royal Navy, the flags of the United States Marines stationed in Wellington in World War II, and the American flags, staff explained, this is a military flag with a story, hanging in the church, people will not forget them, God bless and bless them. This church is now rented mainly for weddings, concerts, commemorations, or funerals. There is also a nearby St Paul's Cathedral in Wellington, a relatively modern church we have seen, known as the most vibrant church of the 21st century. There are more than 1,000 seats, behind the altar is an abstract glass painting. Some window stained glass paintings are also geometric patterns, appearing modern and fashionable. The overall building was completed in 1998. The church is now a venue for national religious events, seminars, concerts and major events in New Zealand.

Found it by chance while walking. Now managed by volunteers. Church with a long history. Still kept clean. Still used for weddings, funerals, family prayers and so on. If you're lucky, you'll meet someone playing the organ when you go in.

We first visited the old church, which was the main church of the Anglican Church in New Zealand and Polynesia, in the parish of Wellington. It is a typical 19th-century Gothic revival building, both in architectural and style, and in line with the colonial background of the time. The charming church is built entirely of native wood from New Zealand. It has huge stained glass windows and the sun shines through the glass, making the interior look mysterious. The roof design of the church is much like the hull of the turned Queen Elizabeth's large sailboat, simple and beautiful, with an overall antique feel.

The old St. Paul's Church, with a long history, is a very exquisite church, simple and small shape, different from other churches, the building is all wood, the interior is very simple and noble, now it is not used as a church, it has been used as a pure attraction for tourists to visit
